American sprint coach Rana Reider ‘kicked out of Paris Olympics’ amid allegations of sexual and emotional abuse

Rana Reider has reportedly been kicked out of the 2024 Paris Olympics after being accused of sexual and emotional abuse by three women.

Reider is the coach of both Andre De Grasse, the reigning Canadian Olympic 200m champion, and Lamont Marcell Jacobs, the Italian who won gold in the 100m in Tokyo.

But according to The timesThe Canadian National Olympic Committee has banned Reider from the Games after three women in Florida filed lawsuits against him.

After the lawsuits came to light, USA Track & Field reportedly warned its Canadian counterpart over the weekend.

According to The Times, Canadian Olympic officials, who initially provided Reider with his qualifications in Paris, have informed the coach that his pass will be revoked.
