A US F-16 fighter jet crashed in the Yellow Sea off the coast of the Korean Peninsula and the pilot was ejected. Yonhap news.
The plane crashed into the water on Monday after taking off from the US air base in Gunsan, South Korea, about 180 kilometers from Seoul.
It is unclear whether the pilot was rescued and U.S. officials in South Korea could not immediately be reached for comment.
