American Matt Walsh delivers a brutal message to Australia: ‘The weakest, wokest, lamest country on Earth’

An anti-woke American podcaster has hit out at Australia, claiming it is ‘the weakest, most woke and lamest country on earth’.

Right-wing political activist Matt Walsh said his views on Australia and its people have deteriorated in recent years.

His comments come after watching Alone Australia, which he described as “unintentionally the funniest thing on TV right now.”

“I have to say, and I’m sure there are great people in Australia, but my opinion of Australians has just plummeted,” he said

During the pandemic, Mr Walsh has been highly critical of the Covid lockdowns and vaccine mandates introduced across Australia.

‘Before Covid, I thought Australia was primarily an absolute hellscape, with poisonous spiders raining from the sky. That part is true,” he said.

‘But then I thought further that everyone who lives there must therefore be the toughest sons of the planet on earth.

‘I really thought so. I thought it was a whole Steve Irwins country.”

The controversial podcaster said: ‘From Covid, and now ending with (Alone Australia), I thought Australia is the weakest, most woke, lamest country on earth.

‘How is that possible? And if you have these few survival skills, how do you live in the country to begin with?

‘I do not get it. It’s amazing,” he said.

Do you agree with Matt Walsh that Australia is the ‘weakest’ country in the world?

Alone Australia is a survival competition series based on the popular American version.

“Ten Australians are dropped off alone in separate areas of remote wilderness, where they face the forces of nature, hunger and loneliness,” according to the SBS promo for the show.

Walsh wrote that he and his wife enjoy watching the American version of Alone, which “features gritty, skilled survivors.”

‘We just found out there’s an Australian version and started watching. Unintentionally the funniest thing on TV right now. It’s basically ‘Alone: DEI Edition.’

“DEI” is an acronym for “diversity, equity and inclusion.”

Walsh wrote that Alone Australia meets all diversity criteria by including two lesbians and two Indigenous people.

‘Ten participants. Two are lesbians. Two claim to be indigenous. One of the lesbians stopped after one night.

“One of the native boys made a big show about connecting with nature etc., cried and quit after one night.”

The conservative commentator then wrote about how a ‘Gen Z environmentalist’ requested a medical evacuation after testing positive for Covid-19.

“Another indigenous man tried to eat a poisonous centipede,” he said.

“The American version features gritty, skilled survivors.

“The Australian version was more concerned about checking the diversity boxes so that the contestants are completely clueless, incompetent and just cry through the whole thing,” Walsh wrote.

He said Alone Australia was “Very funny stuff. And a great cautionary tale. Highly recommend.

‘Apparently they sent the participants into the wilderness with Covid tests. And they start every episode with a land acknowledgment.

‘Plus, they have a lot of environmental regulations that prohibit them from hunting almost any game. Like I said, it’s hilarious.’

Walsh’s new video has already received hundreds of comments, with one poster talking about their own experiences with the show.

“As a survival enthusiast, I started the application process for this show, but once I realized they were promoting DEI to the participants, I didn’t proceed any further.

‘There were more questions about sexuality and gender identity than about outdoor skills.’

Another wrote that Crocodile Dundee actor ‘Paul Hogan’ was seriously giving millions of Americans the wrong impression of Aussies.

“The vast majority of them aren’t like that. Renowned wilderness experts like Steve Irwin are about as common as it gets here in the United States.

‘What stuck with me, however, when I visited Australia in 2009 and 2013, was their sense of humor and affinity with alcohol.

“But this was before they became infected with wokeism,” they wrote.
