Lucy Love and Nutsa, after being saved by the judges, were eliminated from American Idol on Sunday as the field narrowed to the ABC singing show’s Top 10.
The Season 21 episode Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Night featured performances of the Top 12 Songs by Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees.
Adam Lambert, 41, who finished second on American Idol in 2009, served as a guest mentor during the two-hour episode and also performed.
Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Hall of Fame inductee Lionel Richie critiqued the contestants with viewer votes deciding who advances in the competition.
Host Ryan Seacrest, 48, revealed the Top 10 after performances by the Top 12.

Lucy, 28, of Holly Grove, Arkansas, and Nutsa, 25, of Tbilisi, Georgia, were among the last three to survive, along with Marybeth Byrd, 21, of Armorel, Arkansas.
“We only have one spot left. Every one of them wants that spot,” Ryan said before revealing the results of the nationwide vote.
He then announced that Marybeth had been voted into the Top 10.
“That means we have to say goodbye to Lucy and Nutsa. We love you both. Thank you very much,” Ryan said to Lucy and Nutsa as they left.
Platinum Ticket winner Tyson Venegas, Warren Peay, Haven Madison, Oliver Steele, Colin Stough, Wé Ani, Megan Danielle, Zachariah Smith and Iam Tongi along with Marybeth also made the Top 10.
Tyson, 17, from Vancouver, Canada, opened the show with the Stevie Wonder version of For Once In My Life.
He was followed by Warren, 24, from Bamberg, South Carolina, who sang the American folk song The House Of The Rising Sun.
Lionel told Warren he couldn’t pick a classic Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame song, saying it was “really great”.

First up: Tyson, 17, from Vancouver, Canada, opened the show with the Stevie Wonder version of For Once In My Life
“I loved your performance,” Lionel said.
16-year-old Haven from Clarksville, Tennessee was next and was impressed with her rendition of Bon Jovi’s Livin’ On A Prayer.
Lucy sang Lionel’s All Night Long (All Night) and he then congratulated her on making the song her own.
“That’s crazy good,” Lionel said.
Oliver, 25, of Mount Juliet, Tennessee, next performed and recorded the 1930 song Georgia On My Mind.
Colin, 18, from Gattman, Mississippi, sang Midnight Rider from The Allman Brothers Band.
He was followed by Marybeth who delivered a fun rendition of the ABBA song Dancing Queen.
Wé, 23, from Harlem, New York, delivered another strong version of the Etta James song Something’s Got A Hold On Me.

Fan Favorite: Katy smiled and made a heart shape as fans clamored for her attention
‘Wait a second. Wait a second. Wait a second. Wait a second. Let me, let me get a handle on the situation. I need to get a grip on the situation. That’s how you bring filth to the table,” Lionel said after her performance.
“I’ve never heard this room sound so loud. Well done,’ Luke told her.
It was Nutsa’s turn and gave her best while singing the Queen song The Show Must Go On.
Megan, 21, from Douglasville, Georgia, sang an emotional version of Angel From Montgomery after receiving positive feedback from Adam.
‘You are really good. Did you know? I keep saying it. Where have you been?” Adam said to Megan as they rehearsed her song.
“In my room,” Megan said, laughing.
Luke admitted after her performance that he was a “mess” and said he was “emotional” because Megan’s performance was “absolutely incredible.”
Lionel also told Megan that her performance was “fantastic.”
Zachariah, 19, from Amory, Mississippi, brought the energy while performing the Electric Light Orchestra song Don’t Bring Me Down.
Iam, 18, from Kahuku, Hawaii, closed out the performances with a great rendition of Sam Cooke’s song Bring It On Home To Me.

‘What a huge step to walk out of here without a guitar. What a brave thing. What a brave thing,’ Luke told him.
Adam also treated viewers to a performance of Tina Turner’s version of I Can’t Stand The Rain.
Ryan revealed that more than 22 million votes came in before announcing that Warren was the first to make the Top 10.
American Idol returns Monday on ABC with the Judge’s Song Contest episode.
