An American farmer was delighted after trying meatloaf for the first time since moving to Australia for the harvest season.
Emma, from Idaho, shared a video explaining the iconic Australian dish to his fans in the US after moving Down Under last month.
The 21-year-old foodie compared the ‘awesome’ dish to apple pie and chicken pot pie and praised the ‘delicious’ bite to her fans.
She has been documenting her time working in the Australian region on her social media, where she is known as @agwithemma.

Emma, from Idaho, shared a video explaining the iconic Australian dish to her fans in the US after moving Down Under last month.
The young woman shared a video to tell her American followers what cake is and how to eat it. “It’s meat in a piece of pie crust she,” he said, “she.” She likened the pie to the American dish of chicken pot pie.
In Australia they have pies, and they are not apple pies. The pies they eat for lunch are little meat pies,” the surprised man said to the camera while driving a combine.
“It’s meat in a piece of pie crust,” he said.
He was particularly surprised by the squeezable ketchup packets and found it amusing that it’s called ketchup in Australia.
‘This is one of plain meat. [Australians] they take the cake, and then they take ketchup and squeeze it on top,” he said.
‘Then just take a good bite, mate,’ he said, imitating an Australian accent.
‘So good. This is one of the first things I ate when I got here and I was very impressed.’
The farmer compared them to the American dish of chicken pot pie and said that there are meat pies in the United States, but they are not as popular.
“They’re just not as common in the United States as they are in Australia,” he said.
Emma has been documenting her farming and travels in the Australian region on her social media accounts, where she is known as @agwithemma.
Many Australians took to the post to share their favorite flavors of meatloaf.
“As an Australian, pepper steak is the best,” said one man.
“Best is steak, bacon and cheese,” added another.
However, several commenters chimed in to say that Australian meat pies aren’t nearly as good as the New Zealand version.
“Kiwi pies are the best, with thick meat and buttery dough,” said one man.
Australian pastries are good. New Zealand cakes are even better,” another agreed.
