American can’t believe her eyes after visiting an Australian Target for the first time: ‘It’s so ugly’
An American woman revealed her shock after entering an Australian Target store for the first time.
RaeAnna, from the US, was visiting her partner in Melbourne when the duo decided to take a trip to Target.
Not knowing what to expect, RaeAnna thought she would walk into a department store that resembled something from home: expansive aisles, endless makeup, clothing, food, and its own coffee shop.
But the reality was far from the truth.
RaeAnna posted a video of herself as she walked through a 'sad' store that seemed barren in comparison.

Some Target stores in America have Starbucks locations – a fact that shocked many Australians
“Australian Target is like Walmart, but worse,” she said, referring to a US discount store.
“It's ugly, it's so bad,” she said as she couldn't stop laughing.
Many Australians who visited America claimed the store was a combination of Kmart, Chemist Warehouse, Dan Murphy's, Sephora, Coles and a cafe.
Some tried to suggest that Aussie Kmarts were similar to American Targets, but they were quickly closed down.
“American Targets have so much more than just a Kmart,” one person said. “You have so many options for everything.”
“You can get your ears pierced and a facial at my local Target,” another revealed. “There's also an optometrist.”
“Wow, Australian Target is seriously lacking,” one American wrote.

While some Australians and New Zealanders shared their opinions and experiences.
“I wish we had that, I feel like having three stores in one is so much more convenient than going to multiple places,” said one.
“All the options seem great – at least you know not everyone's house will look the same,” another added.
“The shelves at both my nearest Kmart and Target stores are always half empty,” one Australian wrote.
“Target is a furniture store in New Zealand,” one man wrote.
