I’m American and made ONE change to look like an Aussie when I arrived Down Under: Now women are swooning over me

An American man made a ‘swoon-worthy’ change to his look after landing in Perth – and many agree he looked instantly ‘Aussie’.

Marshall Borrus, from Connecticut in the US, went viral for getting a mullet to ‘assimilate’ into Australian culture.

The 26-year-old texted his friends Kory and Maxi – who lived in Perth – and said he wanted a haircut when he arrived.

“It’s pretty much everyone here in Australia – it’s the national haircut,” Maxi joked to her podcast, G’Day.

Australian and international women have been ‘drooling’ over Marshall’s new hair ever since – and many have proposed to him in the comments section, begging him to extend his stay Down Under.

Thousands were shocked that Marshall looked ‘instantly’ like an Australian man with his new hair

Because the haircut and mustache combination is considered ‘Australian’, Marshall has noticed that many people recoil in shock when they hear his accent.

“People seem shocked when they talk to him and he sounds American,” Maxi noted in a comment.

“I’d probably get whiplash if I heard the accent after seeing it,” one woman echoed.

Thousands fell ‘instantly in love’ and swooned over the man.

“Immediately light up,” someone said. ‘My mother approves. Come back so we can get married.”

“Crazy that he immediately looks Australian,” said one woman.

“Just give him a pair of jorts and a pair of Birkenstocks and he’s done!” one man joked.

“Bro looks more Aussie than the rest of us,” another added.

Marshall isn’t the only traveler who plans his haircuts in advance.

“I’m going to Australia in October and am currently growing one so I can blend in when I arrive,” one traveler revealed.
