The Hollywood stars caused a storm for the cameras on the red carpet before taking to the stage to talk to host Lauren Laverne about the blockbuster.
For the occasion, the 39-year-old America cut a sophisticated figure in a beige checked mini skirt and a matching blazer, which she paired with a black sweater with a high neckline.
She put on a leggy show in her elegant ensemble and gave herself a few extra inches in a pair of chunky heeled boots.

America and Ryan discussed the blockbuster live-action film during the Q&A event amid their busy promotional schedule.

The co-stars attended another Q&A event at the BFI Southbank on Friday, although lead actor Margot was unable to attend as previously planned.
Before the event, Ryan was seen stopping to sign autographs for fans as he entered the venue for the In Conversation about Barbie event and screening.
He cut a stylish figure in a white T-shirt and jeans, which he teamed with a chic cream jacket and sunglasses.
During the Q&A, America then talked about what it was really like to star in the Barbie movie and work with director Greta, who she said is very “collaborative.”
She said of Greta: 'That collaboration, that generosity, she's the smartest person on set, but she's also the most open and collaborative, and she has more fun than anyone on set. She loves making movies so much.”

“And yet here we are and this strange, delightful film has disproved much of that. What has it brought me personally?
“I feel like at some point I stopped expecting the phone to ring and for a brilliant, Academy Award-nominated director to call and say, 'I wrote a part for you!'
“I've been in this industry for over 20 years, and as a Latina actress, as a woman of color, as someone who has been pigeonholed into certain jobs and boxes from the beginning of my career, even with success there are opportunities to succeed. really branching out and doing things that aren't so tightly labeled are few and far between.
'I thought I should do that for myself, I should produce. It was incredibly unexpected to get a call from Greta (Gerwig).
“She had written the Latina character, but that wasn't part of her journey. It was more about her being a human being in a make-believe world.”
