Ambyr Childers granted a temporary restraining order against embattled producer Randall Emmett

Months after she sought a restraining order against ex-husband Randall Emmett, actress Ambyr Childers finally got one.

Emmett, 51, was ordered to stay 100 yards from Childers, 34, to whom he was married for eight years from 2009 to 2017, according to los angeles times.

She was also barred from contacting Childers, unless it was a “brief, peaceful interaction” about visits from her daughters, London, 12, and Rylee, 9.

Childers’ first application for a domestic violence restraining order was denied due to lack of evidence, though she filed a new application — after the FBI contacted her.

She revealed in the application, filed in late December, that the FBI contacted her on December 6 and asked about Emmett’s “suspected child exploitation and pedophilia activities.”

She said in the statement that the FBI call caused “extreme destruction and disruption of [her] emotional calm and peace of mind.’

Suspect: She disclosed in the application, filed in late December, that the FBI contacted her on December 6 and asked her about Emmett’s “suspicious child exploitation and pedophilia activities.”

She added that she was concerned because her daughters “are often alone” with their father.

Childers went on to request that she does not want to “take the risk” of her children being with Emmett if “federal police serve an arrest or search warrant on him or his premises.”

An FBI spokesperson told the Times that they were “unable to confirm or deny the existence of an investigation” due to FBI policy.

While Childers did not comment for the report, Emmett himself vehemently denied that the FBI was investigating him.

“(I am not) being investigated by the FBI or anyone else, and the idea that I am is beyond absurd,” Emmett said in a statement.

“There is no evidence that he is being investigated for anything. I am shocked and completely incredulous that Ambyr would even hint at something so disgusting and untrue,” Emmett added.

Denied: While Childers did not comment for the report, Emmett himself vehemently denied that the FBI was investigating him.

Emmett, who shares legal custody of their children with Childers, maintained that her claims were “designed to harm my career without any evidence.”

However, after Childers filed the petition, the Times spoke to three other people who were also contacted by the FBI about Emmett and provided them with information.

While Childers’ request for a temporary restraining order was granted, a hearing for her domestic violence restraining order will be held on January 12.

Custody: Emmett, who shares joint legal custody of his children with Childers, claimed his claims were “designed to harm my career without any evidence.”

Emmett’s attorney, Heather M. Patrick, claimed that attorneys for both sides were working to “comprehensively resolve the baseless allegation,” though Childers’ attorney, Larry Bakman, disputed this.

The court issued protection orders against Randall Emmett based on a prima facie showing of abuse. If Emmett claims that he is lying, he should take the matter up in a court of law instead of the media,” Bakman said.

Bakman added: “I can confirm that Emmett’s previous attorney never reached out to discuss the settlement,” and he was “open to discussing the terms and conditions of the settlement on my client’s behalf.”

Emmett came under fire in June when an LA Times investigation revealed that the producer had traded acting roles for sexual favors.

The investigation also added that he still owes millions of dollars to various investors and that he forced attendees to engage in illegal behavior on his behalf, all of which Emmett denied.

Childers claimed in his latest court filing that Emmett was “physically and emotionally abusive” while they were married.

She added that when he asked her to sign a post-nuptial financial agreement in 2015, and she refused, he got so upset and put his left hand on her neck, “squeezing so hard that [Childers] he had difficulty breathing.

Childers claimed that in 2016, when he brought up the proposed deal again, Emmett, “again tried to strangle” Childers.

Emmett’s trial attorney, Suann C. MacIsaac, said in a separate statement: ‘Mr. Emmett strongly denies all the allegations in Ms. Childer’s recent statement.’
