Amber Heard is seen out with her daughter Oonagh and a friend on a stroll in her new home of Spain

Amber Heard was recently spotted settling into her new Spanish home while taking a walk around Madrid with her young daughter and a friend.

The 37-year-old actress was spotted chatting with a friend and apparently also on the phone while walking down a city street late last week.

She also brought an apparent janitor who pushed her daughter Oonagh, two, onto a seated scooter.

DailyMail.com reported exclusively on Thursday that Amber has retreated from the US and the hustle and bustle of Hollywood in the wake of her ex-husband Johnny Depp’s most successful defamation trial against her in Virginia last year.

Now she’s set up camp with her daughter in a house just outside Madrid, but it’s unclear when she’ll try to wake her up in Hollywood and restart her acting career.

New home: Amber Heard, 37, was spotted walking late last week in Madrid, Spain, with a friend and her daughter Oonagh, two. She now lives in a house just outside the Spanish capital, DailyMail.com reported exclusively

Amber was dressed casually for her outing in a simple white top, which she wore without a bra.

She contrasted it with a textured black midi skirt and black open-toe shoes with chunky heels.

She appeared to be wearing modest make-up and kept her blonde locks tied up in a casual bun.

Beside a black handbag, she held her phone on a strap around her torso, holding it up as if on a call as she walked with her companions.

Little Oonagh looked adorable in a white shirt with multi-colored horizontal stripes, along with a pair of blue overalls that began to fall around her arms.

Amber was also seen chatting to a friend in a black tank top and brown plaid skirt with black combat boots, while another woman in a black top and dark jeans appeared to watch Oonagh push her stroller.

Despite moving around the world, Amber seems to enjoy the slower pace in the Spanish capital.

“She is bilingual in Spanish and is happy there, raising her daughter away from all the noise,” a friend of the actress told DailyMail.com.

She doesn’t seem to have completely sworn off acting, but she’s also in no rush to get back to work on set.

“I don’t think she’s in a rush to get back to work or to Hollywood, but she’ll probably come back when the time is right for the right project,” the friend added.

Taking her time: A friend says she has no plans to act again at the moment, but she may be lured back by Hollywood in the future

However, her stay may be slightly extended as she sold her home in Yucca Valley, California in July 2022 for a decent profit.

One of Amber’s two filmed but unreleased projects was the upcoming superhero movie Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom, which will be released in December of this year.

For months it was unknown if Amber would return for the film, or if she would be cut from it due to the controversy related to her legal battle with her ex Johnny Depp.

She was seemingly vindicated in the UK after Depp lost a defamation suit against The Sun for publishing her allegations of his domestic violence.

The judge overseeing the case determined that Depp assaulted Heard in most of the cases described in the publication.

But she suffered a shocking turnaround in the US after she published an op-ed in the Washington Post referring to her history as a victim of domestic violence, which did not mention Depp, but was widely interpreted as about her ex-husband.

This time, Depp sued her directly for defamation, and the case was decided by an unsegregated jury instead of a judge.

The jury found Heard’s statements in the op-ed to be defamatory, but confusingly also found that Depp’s attorney had slandered Heard.

She was ordered to pay $10.35 million to her ex-husband while he had to pay her $2 million for his lawyer’s defamatory statement.

After Heard was unable to pay the initial verdict, they eventually reached a settlement whereby her insurer would only pay Depp $1 million.

While both were essentially vindicated in different trials, Amber has seemingly been shunned from Hollywood, while Depp is on the comeback trail.

He will star in the upcoming French film Jeanne du Barry directed by Maïwenn, and he will also direct a film about the painter Amedeo Modigliani.

In May 2022, Depp got the support of his friend, the guitar virtuoso Jeff Beck, and the two recorded an album and tour together.

Beck died in January from a bacterial meningitis infection.
