Inauguration of Ram Mandir: Reliance Industries (RIL) Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani’s Mumbai residence ‘Antilia’ has been decorated with diyas and ‘Jai Shri Ram’ holograms in preparation for the ‘pran pratistha’ ceremony at Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The iconic 27-storey house glittered with lights and banners as Ambani prepared for the grand opening of the Ram Mandir, which is also expected to be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other prominent dignitaries on Monday.

The decorations went up on Sunday evening, with videos and photos of the building going viral on social media platforms. Ambani is among the top industrialists expected to attend the inauguration ceremony.

Built in the traditional Nagara style, the Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir measures 380 feet long (east-west), 250 feet wide and 161 feet high. Supported by 392 pillars and fitted with 44 doors, the temple’s pillars and walls display intricate sculptures of Hindu deities.

The consecration rituals for the ‘pran pratishtha’ started from the Saryu river on January 16 and will end at the ‘abhijeet muhurta’ on Monday afternoon, the temple said.

The much-awaited ordination ceremony of Lord Ram in the temple town of Ayodhya is expected to begin at 12.20 pm. The ceremony is expected to end at 1 pm, followed by Prime Minister Modi’s address to the gathering.

In addition, Prime Minister Modi Kuber will visit Tila, where an ancient Shiv temple has been restored.

The central government declared a half-day holiday on January 22, and several states followed suit as millions of people are expected to watch the event live on TV and online platforms. Temples across the country have also announced special festivities to celebrate the occasion.
