Amazon reveals the most-asked questions and requests to its smart assistant in 2023 – from ‘Alexa, insult me’ to ‘Alexa, fart 17 times in a row’

And now Amazon has revealed the questions and requests Britons will ask Alexa the most in 2023 – including some rather weird and wonderful entries.

From “Alexa, how old is King Charles?” To “Alexa, sing the national anthem,” many of the most important requests focused on the coronation.

Elsewhere, Barbenheimer fever saw Brits asking Amazon's smart assistant, “Alexa, what's the Barbie movie about?” and “Alexa, how long is Oppenheimer's film?”

However, many other Brits chose more unusual requests, including “Alexa, insult me” and “Alexa, fart 17 times.”

When it came to ages, Britons were most interested in knowing how old Elton John was, while the ages of King Charles, Angela Rippon and Lionel Richie were also of interest.

Somewhat unsurprisingly, billionaire Elon Musk is the one whose net worth has sparked the highest interest, while curious Brits have also inquired about the net worths of Paul McCartney, Prince Harry and Bill Gates.

In the list of most popular couples, “Alexa, who is Jennifer Lopez married to?” The search was the top, followed by “Alexa, who is married to Taylor Swift?”, and “Alexa, who is married to Gordon Ramsay?”

Meanwhile, the UK appears to be a nation of budding chefs, with many popular recipes being sought after in 2023.

Delving further into the weird and wonderful requests, Amazon says the top “surprise Alexa interactions” were “Alexa, insult me,” “Alexa, say something rude,” and “Alexa, do you love me?”

Our love of old-fashioned bathroom humor seems to be thriving too, with an entire “fart” category included on Amazon.

“Alexa, rap about farts,” “Alexa, fart squealing,” and “Alexa, fart seventeen times in a row” were among the top searches in this category.
