Amazon Prime thriller Citadel starring one of Meghan Markle’s best friends Priyanka Chopra makes gross sexual slur against Princess Kate

- She has often spoken out in support of Meghan, including before the wedding
A big budget thriller starring one of the Duchess of Sussex’s best friends makes a crude and sexual joke about the Princess of Wales.
Screening on streaming giant Amazon Prime, Citadel stars Indian actress Priyanka Chopra Jones, who has repeatedly publicly supported Meghan.
Ms. Chopra Jones, 41, plays the protagonist, an elite spy agent Nadia Sinh in the five-part spy action series.
And in the third episode, she is involved in a scene with a crime boss named Balduino Basto, played by Sen Monro.
Mason Kane, Richard Madden’s character, goes to Basto in Morocco under Nadia’s instructions and she talks to him in his ear.

Basto is then asked for help to break into the office of the Chief of the Armed Forces.
It prompts him to say, “The Chief of the Armed Forces? You might as well have asked me how to get between the Duchess of Cambridge’s legs!’
Last week, it was claimed that the new live-action remake of the Disney film The Little Mermaid, one of the Duchess of Sussex’s favourites, features a dig at her sister-in-law.
A critic who saw an early screening of the film noted the apparent joke against the Princess of Wales in the script for the film.
The reviewer pointed to the scene where Ariel and Prince Eric meet, after she gives up her voice to surface and he has to try to guess her name.
He said, ‘His first guess is Diana. His second guess is Catherine, but after that [Ariel gives a disgusted] response, he [concludes] “Okay, definitely not Catherine.”
“Disney would be disingenuous to suggest that those name choices were accidental.”
Ms Chopra Jonas and the Duchess of Sussex, 41, befriended when they met at an Elle magazine event in 2016 and soon after interviewed the Duchess of Sussex for her blog The Tig, which no longer exists. They also appeared together in New York’s Broadway theater, watching the musical Hamilton shortly afterwards.

The third episode contains a crude sexual reference to the Princess of Wales, although she is referred to by her previous title, the Duchess of Cambridge.

In 2018, Mrs. Chopra Jones wrote an open letter about her boyfriend before the 2018 royal wedding, around the time Meghan entered the TIME 100 list.
She said: “Above all, Meghan is an important influencer in a world that needs strong public figures to respect and look up to.
‘People the world can be inspired by. Meghan, standing shoulder to shoulder with Harry, will be a princess to the people.’
Ms Chopra Jonas also firmly defended the Duchess after the marriage, telling the Sunday Times in 2019: “If there’s anyone who can handle it, it’s her.”
She added that the criticism “has to do with racism” and that Markle was “always the girl who wanted to move the needle.”
Citadel is one of the most expensive television shows, with a production budget of almost £300 million. It premiered on April 28 and a second season has recently been commissioned.
