Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos’ fiancee, Lauren Sanchez, 53, gleams in two-piece showing off toned abs

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos’ fiancé Lauren Sanchez was all smiles as she went out for dinner with a friend in Santa Monica on Tuesday night.

Sanchez, 53 — fresh off her engagement to Bezos, 59 — beamed in a two-piece and showed off her toned abs as she emerged from Santa Monica’s Giorgio Baldi, a popular Italian restaurant with LA’s high-profile locals.

Dressed all in white, Sanchez beamed from behind sunglasses as she clutched a matching white handbag in one hand, tucking her left hand into her pocket.

The former news anchor initially hid the huge rock the Amazon boss proposed with at the end of May, but soon reached for the car door, unable not to show off the flashy ring.

Sanchez seemed relaxed on the night of the first Prime Day sale as her fiancé prepared for an anticipated appearance at the annual Allen & Co summer conference, dubbed the “Billionaire Summer Camp,” at Sun Valley Lodge in Idaho.

Like many stars, Giorgio Baldi seems to be a firm favorite of Sanchez and Bezos. The two were spotted on a date last year while coming out of the popular joint.

The family-owned restaurant has been serving Los Angeles locals for over thirty years, opening in 1990.

According to the LA Institute’s website, the restaurant adheres to “simplicity, authenticity, love of tradition” and—conveniently for their high-profile clientele—”complete respect for our customers.”

Restaurant staff often tell customers not to ask for photos of the many celebrities who dine at the restaurant.

An entrée — or antipasti — alone can cost up to $40, while pasta dishes cost $30 and freshly caught seafood as much as $58.

Rihanna has been regularly spotted on the site dozens of times over the past decade — and has said she’s been a fan of the establishment since she was 18.

TThe Barbadian singer, 35, showed up just after 5 p.m. every Sunday, the New York Times reported.

Though staff at the restaurant have a rule telling customers not to ask for photos, Rihanna is a celebrity who reportedly likes to pose for snaps with delighted members of the public, diners say.

Giorgio Baldi’s other frequent visitors include models Hailey Bieber, Lori Harvey and Kendall Jenner, while it’s also a favorite of the likes of Cindy Crawford and the Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell couple.

If there weren’t enough celebrity fans already, acting legends Robert De Niro, Billy Crystal and Harvey Keitel were also spotted at the restaurant earlier this year.

Bezos and Sanchez recently returned from southern Europe, where they spent time together on Bezos’ $500 million megayacht Koru – which means “a new beginning” in Maori.

The boat features a statue of Sanchez on the bow.

The 127-meter superyacht was spotted off the coast of Sardinia on June 23 and was followed by a large support vessel carrying a speedboat and helicopter.

The engaged couple was photographed several times during their luxury cruise on the 2021-built yacht.

It’s possible the couple were celebrating when DailyMail.com reported in May that Bezos popped the question to Sanchez after four years of dating. The couple has yet to officially confirm the engagement, despite being heavily rumored about it.

In a January interview with the Wall Street Journal, Sanchez candidly paid tribute to Bezos’ not-so-worldly sense of humor.

“He always makes me laugh. He can be crazy. He is so happy, he inspires me every day, he makes me a better person every day; he is the most loving person I know.’

She described a typical weekend night as including dinner with the kids. Sanchez has three, Nikko, Eleanor Whitesell, 14, and Evan Whitesell, 16. Bezos himself has four with ex-wife Mackenzie Scott. The couple separated in 2018.

While Bezos himself wasn’t seen at dinner last night, the billionaire could be forgiven as Amazon is currently in the midst of Prime Day sales.

The midsummer sale for Amazon is huge for the company as they offer thousands of discounted products to their subscribed Prime users.

According to Insider intelligencePrime Day will reach 174.9 million US users this year – a whopping 65.9 percent of the population.

On its very first Prime Day in July 2015, Amazon posted a $900 million gain in sales, according to Coresight Research.

Now Bank Of America estimates the sale could generate about $12 billion in revenue for the company, up 12 percent from a year ago.

The sale period is designed to build loyalty with customers and their paid Prime subscribers. But the period also brings in up to 2 percent in annual revenue for Amazon.
