From her hospital bed, still drowsy in the moments after surgery, the broker said the “surgery went well.”

“I’m back in my room and I’ve already put on my comfy pajamas,” she said in a somewhat unclear, low voice.

She added: ‘I’m on the mend guys. Thanks for the get well wishes. Stay tuned and I’ll keep you posted.’

Health Ordeal: After getting an MRI and a CT scan, Smith was told to go to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles

Health ordeal: Selling Sunset star Amanza Smith, 46, underwent surgery after experiencing “excruciating” back pain for weeks, which was ultimately due to a blood infection

About five hours earlier in the day, the reality star posted an edited video explaining the process of how she first developed back pain and had to undergo surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

“Over a month ago and this all started I thought I had a bulging disc or a herniated disc or something wrong with my lower back that was regular,” she began in the caption.

‘I lay in my house in pain for several days. I cried. I took Tylenol. I went to the emergency room,” continued the Indiana resident, 46. “I didn’t know what it was, but after over a month of excruciating pain, I finally started to get some answers.”

Smith underwent an MRI and a CT scan and was then told to go to the hospital.

“I came to Cedar Sinai last Friday thinking I would get another scan of my back and then go home. Instead, I was admitted and they immediately started testing me for things in my blood. I found out I had an infection in my blood that had caused a lot of infection to spread to the bones of my spine and it’s called osteomyelitis,” she revealed.

Looking at the bright side of the situation, the former model shared how she is “in the best hospital” and that “every doctor and nurse is on top of everything to get the answers we need to get me where I need be, which is better.’

Smith, who has starred in the Netflix series since season two, then opened up about her treatment, revealing that she was “taking antibiotics for her spine infection, which the doctors first thought was a tumor because on an MRI it looks like this.” ‘

“But the bad kind, not the kind that’s just an infection,” the TV personality clarified. “Everyone was very scared, including myself.”
