Amanda Holden left furious as she suffers a blow midway through her charity bike ride from Cornwall to London
Amanda Holden was left furious when she suffered an unfortunate blow halfway through her charity cycle ride from Cornwall to London.
When the Heart FM Breakfast host reached Surrey, she was forced to give up cycling after suffering two flat tyres.
Amanda, 53, who has just completed day four of her charity cycle ride, said: ‘It’s just annoying because it’s holding us up and we’re just getting into it!
‘Every time I get off the bike my legs creak.’
As if the first delay wasn’t annoying enough, Amanda had to get off her bike for the second time due to a new flat tire.

During the fourth day of her charity cycle, Leigh Francis hilariously surprised her dressed as Elliott from ET – with an ET model strapped to the front of him.
And just when she thought the surprise was over, Leigh revealed he would be helping Amanda with some of today’s tandem cycling.
The pair jumped on their bikes together and started riding away, laughing.
Amanda will cycle more than 250 miles in an effort to raise money for Global’s Make Some Noise.
The challenge started on Monday and will continue throughout the week as she travels through Somerset, Berkshire, Wiltshire and Surrey before reaching her destination on Friday.
On Tuesday she revealed that she had had to strip naked while her wet clothes dried due to the harsh weather conditions.
The star revealed while ‘naked in just a towel’ as she rested in a hotel after battling the ‘horrific weather’, she has suffered a ‘really weird’ injury.
Speaking to The Sun, she said: ‘My thumbs hurt, it’s really strange. I’m currently sitting here naked with nothing but a towel around me because the weather is just awful.

‘Monday was the worst for the Hills, but now it’s the weather. My wet stuff is drying on a radiator in this beautiful hotel called The Chapel. “I had an egg dish and two hash browns for breakfast, and I just had some pumpkin soup before I go out again.”
Amanda was left completely shocked on Monday when she was told she had donated £100,000 to Global’s Make Some Noise, the charity she is taking on the challenge for.
She said: ‘We received a donation of £100,000 from the makers of the film The Wild Robot. It’s just incredible.
“We’ve had so many people support us along the way. It was really uplifting and wonderful and it’s clearly all for a good cause.’
The star revealed that she will be using ‘bum butter’ from the start of the trip to the end.
In an interview with The Sun’s Bizarre column, the radio presenter explained: ‘I have padded inserts and bum butter but that’s everyday for me.
‘I had never heard of butternut before, but now I have so many varieties.
Amanda’s five-day cycling challenge started on Monday and will continue throughout the week as she travels through Somerset, Berkshire, Wiltshire and Surrey before reaching her destination on Friday.
She added: ‘We think we will burn 15,000 calories a day. I still have a Saganaki belly from my holiday in Corfu, so I’m doing this now for charity – and for weight loss. When I come back, I’ll be just like Davina McCall. I will be torn.”
Amanda is no stranger to tough challenges having previously completed the Three Peaks Challenge, a 3,000 meter skydive and climbing to the top of Blackpool Tower in support of Global’s Make Some Noise.
However, Amanda’s ‘big ride to work’ will be the furthest and longest Amanda has ever cycled.
