Yet Amanda Holden swapped the cold English climate for glorious sunshine as she worked on an exciting new project abroad on Friday.

Via Instagram, the 52-year-old host gave fans a glimpse of her outing as she posed in a tiny two-piece while reading social issue thriller American Dirt at a resort.

Showing off her toned abs, the mum-of-two wowed in a blue paisley print bikini which she teamed with oversized sunglasses and a beach hat.

There was no sign of bloating after Amanda joked she was fighting a “cheese baby” on Tuesday as she returned to the Global studios for her show on Heart FM.

The presenter wowed in a figure-hugging white long-sleeved dress from Pretty Lavish.

While the dress accentuated her slender physique to perfection, Amanda confessed that she breathed in and allowed herself to indulge during the festive period.

She turned over, exhaled, and held her stomach as she admitted that she had a “cheese baby.”

She announced on Instagram: 'No, I'm not pregnant, that's a cheese baby.'

Amanda looked cozy as she paired the wool dress with off-white leather ankle boots.

Speaking to her followers, she said: 'Good morning, it's January 2, I said Happy New Year, but Happy New Year. We're back to work, it feels super early, but it's really nice to be back.

'It's hard to know what to wear, but I'm wearing this beautiful fitted dress from Pretty Lavish. As you can see, it is a beautiful wool dress.

Amanda then admitted: “But look, I'm breathing in like this,” as she posed with her head forward before turning to the side and exhaling while holding her stomach.

“This is the reality out there. No, I'm not pregnant, that's a cheese baby.'

The star soon sucked in again before grabbing her handbag and placing it over her stomach.

She laughed, “But I can pose like this in it and it's all good, or I can do this with my Aspinal bag that Santa gave me, isn't it a beautiful, winter white.

“Let's smash 2024, let's move forward, let's not look back and make it work.”
