Amanda Holden, 52, insists ‘hoo-ha’ over racy outfits is ‘ridiculous’ as she defiantly says: ‘If they want to talk about my boobs, bring it on!’
She is known for turning heads with her daring outfits and has received hundreds of Ofcom complaints about her racy wardrobe.
But Amanda Holden has highlighted the ‘hoo-ha’ surrounding them as ‘absolutely ridiculous’, defiantly saying: ‘If they want to talk about my boobs, bring it on.’
The Britain’s Got Talent judge, 52, who is currently helming new documentary Sex: A Bonkers History, explained how the female form was valued centuries ago and society is now more prudish than ever.
She earlier led to 235 Ofcom complaints during the 2020 series of the talent show when she wore a plunging dress.
But speaking in a new interview with The sunAmanda explained: ‘The Victorians, I think, were to blame – in their eyes, everything became more sexualised than it was intended to be.’

She continued, “It’s crazy that when you think about the hoo-ha around some of my outfits, we’re still here. It’s absolutely ridiculous that this is still happening in an era where we really think we’re ahead of the curve.
‘But as I always say when we talk about Britain’s Got Talent, I’m 52. If they still want to talk about my t*ts, bring it on!’
Amanda stars alongside Dan Jones in the new Sky History series Sex: A Bonkers History, exploring how sexual behavior has shaped civilizations through the ages.
Amanda previously insisted she didn’t want any complaints from Ofcom over her racy outfits in this year’s series of the ITV talent show, which ended in June.
The judge led to thousands of complaints to the regulator from viewers outraged by her revealing dresses during the live shows.
But Amanda dismissed the criticism, telling MailOnline that those who disagree with her sartorial choices have ‘too much time on their hands’.
She joked: ‘Here’s the problem, everyone talks about my boobs and his are out all the time. No Ofcom complaints about me this year please!’
Bruno also defended his co-star, saying: ‘If you’ve got it, flaunt it! I don’t understand this complaint. She’s a beautiful woman.’

‘Ridiculous’: But in a new interview with The Sun, Amanda explained: ‘The Victorians, I think, were to blame – in their eyes everything became more sexualised than it was’
Amanda previously sparked 235 complaints from Ofcom during the 2020 series when she took to the stage in a plunging navy dress that some thought was inappropriate for a family show.
Another revealing outfit the star donned became one of the most complained about TV moments of 2017, with 663 viewers contacting the regulator about it.
Joking about how much attention her boobs and racy ensembles receive, Amanda previously joked that they need their own representation and will appear in Piers Morgan’s Life Stories.
She said: ‘I seriously think my girls need separate representation with me because they are famous in their own right. They don’t need me, they’re going to do Piers Morgan’s Life Stories on their own next year!’
