Former child star Amanda Bynes is on her way to becoming a nail technician after enrolling in a cosmetology course.
The 36-year-old retired actress – with 132K Instagram/YouTube followers – Instastoried on Friday: ‘In cosmetology college to become a manicurist!’
Using a sparkly filter, Amanda shared a video of her classroom populated by a few other nail technician students.

On Saturday the Easy A alum instagram story a photo of herself with a Kupa Inc. Nail Trainer on which she had applied gray acrylic nails.
Amanda also posted pictures of her practicing apply nails with asymmetrical lavender glitter and another set of green neon nails with a black design.
After receiving her associate’s degree from Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in 2019, Bynes decided to continue her studies there by earning a bachelor’s degree.

‘[I’m] majoring in creative industry studies with a core in beauty marketing and product development,” the SoCal native told e! News in April.

Seven months ago, Ventura County Superior Court Judge Roger L. Lund agreed to finally end the nine-year legal guardianship of the SAG Award nominee under the supervision of her mother Lynn.
Amanda’s guardianship began in 2013 when she was involuntarily committed to a psychiatric treatment facility in Pasadena after a public collapse that included a series of bizarre clashes with the law dating back to 2012.
Among Bynes’ violations were two hit-and-runs and a DUI in 2012, as well as a 2013 arrest for throwing a bong from a 36th-floor window of her Manhattan apartment.
