Amanda Bynes, 37, is ‘considering moving away from Los Angeles’… after she completes her stint in a mental health facility following 5150 hold

Amanda Bynes is reportedly considering moving away from Los Angeles after completing her stint in a mental health facility.

The 37-year-old star checked into a clinic in Orange County, California, in July, just days after he was released for outpatient care following a stint at another facility after being in a ‘5150 hold’ for the second time this year had been placed.

And now it is reported that she is looking to the future and weighing her options once she leaves the centre.

A source said ETonline: ‘(Amanda is) thinking about her future and considering moving out of LA and out of the spotlight. She feels like it’s been a long time.

“She is also considering taking on a new work project and looks forward to moving forward with the exciting offers that have come her way.”

The insider added that the actress still makes sure her health is her top priority.

The source added, “Amanda is doing her best to take care of herself through various treatments. She tries to maintain her privacy and spend time with people she likes and trusts.”

The Hairspray star was placed in a 5150 hold earlier in June after apparently calling the police for help.

It came just months after she was taken back into custody in March after allegedly roaming the streets of Los Angeles naked.

A 5150 psychiatric shelter is designed to protect people with mental disorders who may be considered a danger to themselves or others and allows them to be involuntarily admitted to care to undergo psychiatric assessments and crisis interventions for a period of up to 72 hours .

Amanda has struggled with mental health issues in the past and previously spent nine years under a conservatorship overseen by her mother Lynn.

The conservatorship began in 2013 after she was involuntarily committed to a psychiatric treatment facility in Pasadena, California, following a public crisis and a series of legal troubles. The protective order ended last year.

In July TMZ reported that the She’s The Man actress preferred the newest facility because she had the support of a medical team, therapists and the company of other patients.

Sources told the publication that she had graduated from her original status at the mental health facility, which prevented her from taking field trips.

She is reportedly in a minimum supervision group, which allows her to leave the premises alone at certain times of the day.

Bynes was previously enrolled in an outpatient treatment program, but she later checked herself into a more intensive inpatient option.

In June, she was placed in a psychiatric facility 5150, just two months after she was released from a three-week stay in a mental health facility after being found walking naked on the streets of Los Angeles.

At the time, a mental health evaluation had deemed her “a danger to herself and others.”

However, Bynes was coherent enough to call the police to report that she was in distress.

Her psychiatric hospitalization was then extended for a week while doctors attempted to stabilize her.

After she was arrested by police for wandering the streets unclothed, Bynes’ former fiancée Paul Michael said Page six that she had not taken her prescribed medications before the mental health crisis.

For nine years, Amanda was under conservatorship, and her mother Lynn made sure she took her medications as prescribed.
