“Tiger Woods, definitely,” she told the outlet. “When I started at PGATour.com, I think Tiger was my second interview ever.

Despite his downtime, Woods remains the biggest name in the game. Having revolutionized the sport with 15 major victories and 82 PGA Tour wins, Woods’ presence unsurprisingly stirs up fans and media alike.

Balionis would go on to have a successful career as a golf reporter, making him a valuable asset to CBS.

In addition to the memorable interview with Woods, she also recalled “the interview with Dustin Johnson after he won the 2020 Masters, when he was vulnerable with us.

‘It was incredible to be able to attend the trophy presentation after Phil Mickelson won the 2021 PGA Championship; to understand the historical element and witness the crowd that escorted him to the 72nd green. That is a sight I will never forget.’

While she will take on a different role in covering American football the rest of the year, Balionis expressed her gratitude for everything that happened on the golf course this past season.
