Sam Asghari has joined the cast of the upcoming action comedy movie Grand Death Lotto.
The news about the 29-year-old actor was revealed on Monday by deadlineand it was also reported that several other artists had been added to the Paul Feig-directed feature lineup.
Britney Spears’ husband, who recently denied there were problems in his marriage, has not shared details about the character he will be playing.
Asghari shared a post on his Instagram account saying it was “an honor and an absolute pleasure” to work on the feature film.
He also wrote that Feig was an “Uber-talented” director who led what he described as a “Kick a** cast.”

The actor shared an image on his Instagram story that showed a pair of chairs, one of which bore his name and stood next to another that belonged to John Cena.
The artist also added graphic text to his post that read, “Am I dreaming?”
It was previously revealed that Grand Death Lotto was in development last month.
The film is about a woman who accidentally comes into possession of a multi-billion dollar lottery ticket that can only be redeemed if the person in possession of the lottery ticket survives until sunset.
She then enlists the help of a bodyguard to protect her from potential attackers, as well as a fellow mercenary who wants to kill her and earn a commission.
The feature film cast will be led by Awkwafina, as well as Cena and Simu Liu, who play the rival bodyguards.
Other performers cast alongside Asghari include Leslie David Baker, Seann William Scott, and Becky Ann Baker.
Feig previously issued a statement expressing his excitement for the upcoming project.

He stated through deadline: ‘I love action comedy and extreme physical comedy and this movie has both in abundance, as well as a boatload of heart and hilarity. This lottery will make all of us winners.”
The head of Amazon and MGM Studios, Jennifer Salke, described the film as “the kind of original idea audiences craved.”
The upcoming feature entered the physical production phase late last month.
The release date of Grand Death Lotto has not yet been revealed to the public.
