Alyssa Milano gushes over Shannen Doherty, Rose McGowan and Holly Marie Combs together

Alyssa Milano took to social media on Sunday to discuss a Charmed cast reunion, which she was conspicuously absent from.

The 50-year-old actress, who was an original cast member on Charmed, shared a photo of Shannen Doherty, Rose McGowan and Holly Marie Combs at 90s Con.

Despite the feud rumors and the drama that has ensued between the women since the start of the show, Milano praised the reunion.

She captioned the post: ‘This makes me happy for the OG Charmed fans. What a gift! #90sconvention.’

Brian Krause, Dorian Gregory and Drew Fuller joined the actresses at the Charmed panel. Milano was the only missing original cast member.

They all attended the 90’s Convention which was held in Hartford, Connecticut on Sunday March 19th.

In the photo, Doherty, 51, McGowan, 49, and Combs, 49, were sitting together on a sofa with microphones in hand.

Each woman had a smile on her face as they seemed to be enjoying both the event and each other’s company.

Charmed ran from 1998 to 2006 and followed the three Halliwell sisters, played by Doherty, Combs and Milano, who discover that they are witches.

After the third season, Doherty shocked audiences when she left the series amid rumors of a feud with Milano, and her character, Prue Halliwell, was killed off.

Rose McGowan then joined the show in the midst of Doherty’s absence in season four, playing her long-lost half-sister Paige Matthews for four seasons.

Doherty, McGowan and Combs were never seen together on screen due to the coming and going of an old character and a new one.

Milano, however, was a part of the show from start to finish, which is why fans are just as shocked by her absence and seeing the other three women on stage together.

After Doherty’s departure from the show in 2001, he spoke briefly with Entertainment Tonight about his decision.

“There was too much drama on the set and not enough passion for the job,” he said.

In October 2022, Milano spoke with entertainment tonight about his current relationship with Doherty.

“I would say we’re cordial,” the Brazen actress shared.

‘You know, I could take responsibility for a lot of the stress we had. I think a lot of our struggle came from feeling like it was in competition instead of being that brotherhood that the show was so much about. And I have some guilt on my part in that.

She added that they reconnected after Doherty was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015.
