Alphonso Davies is open to signing a new contract offer from Bayern Munich, according to reports.
The Canadian left-back’s contract with the Bundesliga giants expires next summer and talks about an extension have been long overdue.
Davies will be allowed to negotiate with clubs outside Germany from January, with Real Madrid favorites handing him a free transfer at the end of the season.
However, according to the Daily briefingBayern have not given up their attempts to renew the player.
The 24-year-old is said to have told others in the dressing room that he has a new contract offer from the German club.
Real are noted to be favorites to sign Davies, although Bayern could convince him to stay if they offer a better deal financially.

Manchester United are also said to be interested in Davies, but have not yet made an offer due to ongoing problems at left back.
Luke Shaw has not played for United since February after a number of injuries, while Tyrell Malacia has only now returned to full fitness after almost 18 months away with a knee problem.
Diogo Dalot and Noussair Mazraoui both had to fill in as left back for the Red Devils this season.
Davies has established himself as one of the best full-backs in the world since joining Bayern from Vancouver Whitecaps in 2019.
He made 210 appearances in all competitions for the German giants, scoring 11 goals.
Davies has won five Bundesliga titles in that time, as well as the Champions League and two DFB-Pokal titles.
