Allison Langdon was seen on a rather animated phone call on Tuesday.
The newly minted A Current Affair presenter, 43, appeared tense as she spoke on the phone during a casual stroll in Sydney.
Covered up under a straw hat and sunglasses, Langdon had a serious expression and made a number of facial expressions during the conversation.

She traded her signature on-camera glamor for a combined back ensemble, wearing a $100 black Aje singlet top, navy track pants and a green backpack.
Without makeup, the extroverted Today show host completed her look with brown leather sandals and a delicate gold chain.
Elsewhere on Tuesday, Ally was confronted live on radio about her relationship with Tracy Grimshaw, after footage of the outgoing A Current Affair presenter ‘rejecting’ her hug went viral last week.

Appears on DeKyle and Jackie O Show, Ally revealed that Grimshaw texted her to smooth things over and merely supported her taking over as the new host of A Current Affair.
“I hate the idea of women being pitted against each other,” she said.
“Tracy talked me through this whole process. I’ve had so many conversations with her about taking over and sitting in that chair,” she continued.

She also said that Tracy texted her the night of the disapproval and that everything was fine between the two women.
Tracy previously clarified on Twitter that she hadn’t snubbed Ally after her last episode of A Current Affair last week, and that she was just “confused and overwhelmed,” which caused the accidental oversight.
Ally will take on the coveted role on the steadfast current affairs program in the new year, after longtime host Tracy stepped down in September.

Channel Nine shared the news on A Current Affair’s official Instagram account on Sunday, praising 43-year-old Ally as one of “Australia’s most fearless and respected journalists”.
“In 2023, Ally Langdon will take the host seat of A Current Affair following the retirement of longtime host Tracy Grimshaw,” the announcement read.

In a press release on Sunday, Ally expressed her excitement and trepidation at taking the respected position.
“It is such an incredible honor to be part of the A Current Affair team. A show that I love, respect and have been watching since I was in school and Jana Wendt was the host,” the journalist began.

“I won’t lie – it’s daunting to step into the role Tracy has played so brilliantly for the past 17 years, with such warmth and compassion.
“I hope to bring my own warmth and compassion to the show as we continue to tell great stories that matter to our amazing viewers.”
She also confirmed that she will be leaving the Today show, which she co-hosted with Karl Stefanovic, as a result of the new gig – but expressed her joy at no longer having to work early morning shifts in favor of an overnight show .
“I understand that it is a big change for our audience and also for me personally. There is great sadness in leaving my brilliant Today show family, especially my co-host Karl, who has made the last three years so wonderful and fun, though I won’t miss that 3am alarm clock!” she said.
Tracy hosted the hit current affairs show from 2006 to 2022
