Channel Nine shared the news on A Current Affair’s official Instagram account on Sunday, praising 43-year-old Ally as one of “Australia’s most fearless and respected journalists”.

“In 2023, Ally Langdon will take the host seat of A Current Affair following the retirement of longtime host Tracy Grimshaw,” the announcement read.

In a press release on Sunday, Ally expressed her excitement and trepidation at taking the respected position.
