Alligator Creek bus fire: Up to 35 people treated after Greyhound vehicle bursts into flames on the Bruce Highway

On Christmas Day, a bus with 35 people on board caught fire on a busy highway.
The vehicle was traveling along the Bruce Highway near Alligator Creek, south of Townsville, in North Queensland, when it caught fire at 2pm on Monday.
Emergency services were called to the scene and paramedics treated 35 people, including the bus driver, at the scene.
The group was treated for smoking-related conditions.

Authorities closed all southbound lanes of Bruce Highway near the intersection with Alligator Creek Road.
