Allegra Overton reveals how her famous mother Jessica Rowe helped her launch her modelling career: ‘Mum got in touch with her old agency’
Allegra Overton is a fast-rising star in the modeling world after making her Australian Fashion Week debut in May.
And the daughter of TV stars Peter Overton and Jessica Rowe admits her mother helped get her foot in the door of the competitive industry.
The 17-year-old talks in this week’s issue Stellar magazine that Jessica called when she first started showing an interest in the fashion world.
”I have always had a dream to do modelling. “I have loved fashion and styling different pieces since a very young age, including some from my mother’s wardrobe,” the blonde beauty tells the publication.
“When I was in 9th grade, I became very curious and interested, so my mother contacted her old agency when she was modeling when she was about my age.”

The model’s Channel Nine news presenter father Peter tells Stellar he is proud of Allegra’s efforts to achieve her goals.
“She knows that modeling can be tough on many fronts, but no matter what, she told me she wanted to give it a great opportunity – and that attitude makes me proud,” he said.
Allegra has her sights set on scoring some appearances on the Paris catwalks.
The leggy blonde looked every bit a supermodel as she walked the catwalk at the Rory William Docherty show at Carriageworks in Sydney as her proud mother looked on in May.

Jessica wrote on Instagram at the time: ‘Bravo, our brave and determined Allegra… so nice to see you making your dreams come true.
‘And yes, I cried happy tears afterwards… A day we will never forget.’
Allegra entered the fashion world after signing with Priscilla’s Models just weeks after her 16th birthday in January 2023.
Months later, she made her catwalk debut against the iconic backdrop of the Sydney Opera House, turning heads as she walked through the AJE Athletica catwalk 23 collection as her tearful mother supported her in the star-studded crowd.
Jessica and her husband Peter have been married since 2004 and also share daughter Giselle.
