A suspected thief was caught by police after he made a daring jump from the roof onto the back of a truck, unaware that officers were just metres away.
The 36-year-old man is believed to have stolen multiple keys from construction company D&W Builders on Coburg Street in Alberton, in Adelaide’s west, in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Police were called to the business after the alarm went off, but were unable to find the alleged intruder.

The 36-year-old then tried to crawl away from the store, his pants falling down, until he was spotted by a nearby officer.
The man was arrested and taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment, believed to be for a broken leg.
Earlier surveillance footage showed the man breaking a window in the building to gain entry.
