Allan Saint-Maximin questions his future at Newcastle in a cryptic Instagram post as winger reveals he is at a ‘turning point’ in his career after ‘one of the toughest years’, insisting: ‘I will give everything to the end ‘
Allan Saint-Maximin has revealed he is at a ‘turning point’ in his career, casting doubt on his future at Newcastle.
The 26-year-old winger posted an exuberant post on Instagram on Monday evening in which he looked back on ‘one of the most difficult years’ of his life.
Saint-Maximin not only suggested he was struggling with an off-field death, but also suggested he is nearing the end at Newcastle United.
“This year has been one of the hardest years emotionally, you can’t know that since I keep personal things to myself, but I’ve lost some really important people, and that’s nothing compared to all the things that have happened in my life . this year, but I always tried to be present on the field and give it my all. I am so proud of the team and that we made it to the CL [Champions League],’ He wrote.
“I am now at a turning point in my career and I will give everything to the end to achieve my dreams.”
Allan Saint-Maximin further doubted his future at Newcastle United in an Instagram post
He added: “It is often said that people forget quickly, but I will not be able to forget everyone who loves me for who I am and believes in me in difficult moments. It is in these difficult situations that we see the real supporters.
“Thanks everyone for the support, no matter what happens, I will always give everything when I get the chance to go on the pitch. Thank God for everything.’
Mail Sport announced in April that Inter Milan would like to sign Saint-Maximin during the summer transfer window.
Inter-scouts were impressed by the Frenchman after he played against Manchester United at St James’ Park.
Despite his flair, Saint-Maximin hasn’t always been the first name on Eddie Howe’s team sheet as the manager wants a higher work rate from his players.
