All Visions of the Traveler locations in Destiny 2: The Final Shape
Visions of the traveler are a collector’s item Lot 2′S The final shape expansion, needed to get the exotic version of the Khvostov Auto Rifle.
In addition to Motes of Light (one of which you earn for each Vision of the Traveler you find), you must exchange all eight Visions of the Traveler to get the Exotic Rifle. You’ll also earn some associated Triumphs in the process.
In this Lot 2 guide, we will show you where you can find all the Traveler’s Visionsplus what you can do with them if you find them.
Where to find all the Traveler’s Visions
There are eight Visions of the Traveler spread throughout the new Pale Heart of the Traveler location. They look like small versions of the Traveler itself. Below you will find information on where to find each Traveler’s Vision.

Load into the Lost City transmat area and head through the old Vanguard office, where Micah-10 is currently based. Go through the hole on the left and exit. Go right, where you’ll see platforms with red borders. Continue and approach the red light.

Continue forward until you see a waterfall, shown above, on the left side of the building.

Jump down into that waterfall, where you’ll find the first Vision of the Traveler.

Load into the landing zone and turn north. There is another waterfall right next to the transmat area. Jump in and collect the second Vision of the Traveler.

Make your way to The Refraction, the area that looks like the City of Dreams. Go to the location on the map above.

If you look northwest you will see another waterfall, this time with a cave on top. Enter that cave and collect the third Vision of the Traveler.

Next, head to the Blooming zone, to the spot on the map marked above.

Looking towards the entrance to The Seclusion, the Vision of the Traveler is at the top of the tree on the right side of the large tunnel.

This Vision of the Traveler is the only one that requires you to collect it during a mission, specifically the “Searing Light Cyst” mission.

Continue through the mission until you reach the room directly before the boss room. You know you’re in the right place because there’s a tree in the middle of the room, as shown above.

As soon as you enter the room, turn to the right and there is a small hole you can jump into. Jump in and find the traveler’s fifth vision.

The sixth Vision of the Traveler is at the very top of The Divide. Climb the mountain until you reach the spot on the map above.

Once you land, head east. The Traveler’s Vision is hidden in plain sight as part of the architecture atop the building, pictured above.

The eighth and final Vision of the Traveler is at the very end of the Transgression Area. The location is shown on the map above.

Go to that location and go through the structure that houses the first ‘Paranormal Activity’ mission. The Vision of the Traveler is hidden behind a tree on the left.
What to do with Visions of the Traveler

After collecting all eight Visions, head to The Lost City and enter the Speaker’s room in the original Destination. (This is the circle on the south side of the Lost City area map.)
Once you get there, place all the Visions on the stages. Once all eight are placed, a gold chest will appear in the center. Once you’ve collected all the Motes of Light and earned the Mote of Primordial Light, you can open the chest and collect the exotic version of Khvostov.
