September is definitely a memorable month for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.

The singer and the NFL star, both 34, have celebrated major career moments in the past month, including the launch of Travis’ podcast and the release of Taylor’s beloved single Love Story all those years ago.

It is also the month in which the couple confirmed their much-discussed romance to the world: on September 24, 2023, the Cruel Summer singer attended her first Kansas City Chiefs game.

But it could also be the month their relationship comes to an end, as an alleged “contract” recently circulated online stating that Taylor and Travis would announce a split on September 28, 2024.

The document detailed a plan to release an official statement about their split later this month and was written by what appeared to be the athlete’s PR agency.

Travis’ team has since branded the contract, which was first posted on Reddit, as “completely false and fabricated” and claims they have hired lawyers to try to find whoever created the “unlawful and damaging forgery of documents.”

But when the couple actually ends their relationship on September 28, it won’t be the first major event to happen to them in September.

Although the exact date they met is unknown,Rumors of their romance first surfaced on September 12, 2023, when The Messenger reported that they were ‘hanging out quietly’.

Nearly two weeks later, on September 24, 2023, the pop star was spotted cheering on the Chiefs tight end from the VIP suite at Arrowhead Stadium with his mother, Donna, confirming that they were indeed a couple.

They became inseparable after that. She was photographed at his shows even more often, they were caught holding hands on numerous dates, and he flew to her gigs several times when her tour resumed shortly thereafter.

Additionally, Taylor released her now mega-hits Our Song and Love Story in September 2008 and September 2009, respectively, while Travis launched his hugely popular podcast New Heights with his brother Jason in September 2022.

There are also rumors that the singer’s relationship with his ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn began on September 28, 2016.

Although speculation that she and the British actor were dating wasn’t until months later — in June 2017, when they were first photographed together — many of her fans believe their romance began on September 28, after she changed the lyrics of a song she covered to include the date.

In 2018, Taylor released a version of Earth, Wind & Fire’s song “September,” changing the line “Do you remember the 21st night of September?” to “Do you remember the 28th night of September?”

Many social media users at the time assumed that this was the day she and Joe started dating.

This week, reports emerged about the alleged leaked document, written on the letterhead of Los Angeles-based agency Full Scope, suggesting that Taylor and Travis release a statement on September 28 confirming their split.

It also says that the announcement should be “gracious and respectful and emphasize mutual respect” and that it should focus on Travis’ “personal growth.”

After the information spread online, a Full Scope spokesperson insisted it was “completely false and fabricated and not created, issued or authorized by this agency.”

The representative also said that they have hired lawyers, but they will not find the perpetrator.

“We have activated our legal team to initiate proceedings against the individuals or entities responsible for the unlawful and damaging forgery of documents,” authorities said.

Travis will be busy in September, as the football season officially starts again on Thursday.

He plays home games on September 5 and 15, followed by a game on September 22 in Atlanta and a game on September 29 in Los Angeles.

Taylor will have a rare break in her schedule after wrapping up the European leg of her Eras Tour on August 20.

She will continue her tour on October 18 in Miami, Florida, but until then she has no official plans.

Rumor has it that she will be attending the MTV VMAs in New York City on September 11th, as she has been nominated for 12 different awards.
