Echo season 1 ends with a bang, with Echo (Alaqua Cox) taking on Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio) again after confronting him Hawkeye. Along the way, she reconnected with her roots, her family, and her sense of self, putting her on the path to becoming a hero.
It’s enough to make you wonder where Echo might appear next. So far, Echo has only appeared Hawkeye And Echobut with the MCU branching out further than ever, it seems like there are a lot of places a hot-headed superhero could pop up – including: possiblea second season of her own show?

Will there be an Echo season 2?
At the time of writing, Disney has not yet confirmed whether there will be a season 2 Echo. For now, the show is billed as a miniseries, just like Hawkeye for the. But that doesn’t necessarily mean the show won’t come back.
When will Echo appear next in the MCU?
So far, Alaqua Cox and Echo have not been confirmed to appear anywhere else in the MCU. But there’s a Daredevil show in the works (and in the rework) that seems like an opportunity for her; they had a pretty awesome fight after all Echo.
And if Hawkeye It’s an indication that this doesn’t have to be the end for Cox’s Maya Lopez. Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop appeared in a teaser scene at the end The miracles as Hawkeye’s heir apparent, meaning Echo could find an analogous slot somewhere in the MCU. (Although it’s still unclear what Kate will do as part of Kamala’s team.)
When would Echo season 2 debut on Disney Plus (or Hulu)?
If there is one Echo Season 2, it might take a while before it actually comes out. Echo was first announced in November 2021, right after Cox appeared as Echo Hawkeye. Since the show isn’t released until about two years later, that’s probably the earliest we’ll see it Echo season 2 would be 2026.
What does this mean for the Marvel Spotlight?

Echo was a unique release for Marvel, not just because it was the first to appear on Hulu (and in full) instead of Disney Plus. It was also the first entry in the new Marvel Spotlight umbrella, something like that Echo says producer Richie Palmer Echo was the right show at the right time.
“I think it was us saying, you know what? Echo wants to be his own thing. So let’s leave it be,” Palmer told Polygon. “We wanted to figure out, when we brought Maya Lopez to life, how do we honor that aspect of the comics? How do we keep it dark and gritty and separate from everything else that was going on?
“And then Kevin (Feige) came in, while we were editing the show, and we saw how dark we were pushing it. And he said: Don’t hold back on the violence, don’t hold back on the guts and grounded tone, that’s what makes this show so unique and special. So Marvel Spotlight actually came from Kevin.”
With Spotlight Offerings being presented as an opportunity for more casual viewing even without any other MCU knowledge, it’s unclear whether shows like Echo A second season is being designed (or promised, or even considered).
