A few winter themed skins will roll out Marvel Rivals during the game’s Winter Celebration event. Characters Jeff, Groot, Rocket, Venom and Magik will all receive new skins during the event via a staggered release schedule.

NetEase Games stuns the launch of Marvel Rivals‘ holiday skins during the Winter Celebration, and some bundles will rotate in and out over the coming weeks. Here’s a quick look at the entire schedule for all indoor winter hides Marvel Rivalswhich we will break down in more detail below:
- Jeff the Land Shark’s Cuddly Fuzzlefin Costume (December 20, 2024 to January 9, 2025)
- Rocket raccoon‘s Wild Winter Costume Bundle (December 20, 2024 to January 9, 2025)
- Big‘s Holiday Happiness Costume Bundle (December 20, 2024 to January 9, 2025)
- Rocket And Big‘s Best Winter Buds Bundle (December 20 to December 27, 2024)
- Poison‘s Snow Symbiote Costume Bundle (December 27, 2024 to January 17, 2025)
- Magic‘s Frozen Demon Costume Bundle (December 27, 2024 to January 17, 2025)
Availability dates of Jeff the Land Shark skin
The free skin for Jeff, called Cuddly Fuzzlefinis the only free Christmas costume during the Winter Celebration 2024.
But to unlock it, you’ll need to do a lot of the Jeff’s Winter Splash Festival game mode before the event ends on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 11:00 AM EST. You’ll also need to play on five to ten different days of the event to get the currency you need for daily missions, so if you’re diligent, it should last you about a week.

Availability dates of Rocket Raccoon and Groot skins
The beloved Guardians of the Galaxy arrive first Marvel Rivals‘Winter festival. You can do the Wild winter rocket raccoon bundle (including the theme costume, MVP animation, emote, spray, and nameplate) for 2,200 units, retailing for 1,600 units. The Holiday happiness Great bundle comes with its own themed goodies and is the same price.
However, if you like both skins, you can get the Best winter bud bundlewhich comes with both bundles for 4,400 units (no savings), on sale for 2,300 units (900 units cheaper than buying both bundles separately on sale).
The Wild Winter Rocket Raccoon and Holiday Happiness Groot costumes are only available until Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 7:00 PM EST, while the bundle is only valid until Friday, December 27.
Availability dates of Venom and Magik skins
The Snow symbiote poison And Frozen Demon Magic costumes are in the second wave of holiday-themed skins Marvel Rivals‘Winter festival event. They will arrive in the in-game store on Friday, December 27th and leave the in-game store on Friday, January 17th, 2025 at 7:00 PM EST.
It’s currently unclear how much each costume bundle will cost, or if they will be bundled like the Groot and Rocket Winter Celebration skins. However, NetEase Games seems to uniformly price most costumes of the same rarity, so they should be similarly priced and will likely have a similar bundle.
