All dressed up! Senator John Fetterman wears trademark hoodie with TUXEDO design as he steps out with Brazilian wife after denying their marriage is on the rocks

Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman has styled his signature hoodie with a snazzy tuxedo design as he enjoyed a date night with his wife after denying their split.

The Democratic lawmaker, 54, shared a photo of himself holding his 15-year-old wife Gisele, 41, by his side in a post on X (formerly Twitter) captioned “Date Night.”

While Gisele stunned in a sparkling black sequin mesh dress, Fettermen took a more casual approach to the dress code by wearing a hoodie with a tuxedo design print, which he paired with black shorts.

Gisele, who previously claimed she was taking a “break from social media,” responded to her husband’s post with the same image zoomed in to crop out her husband — which she playfully captioned “better now.”

The Brazilian activist explained that she ended her social media cleanse because she was “bored of it” and because she is a “Pisces.”

This week, rumors swirled that Sen. John Fetterman (D-Penn.) and his wife Gisele Barreto Fetterman have divorced after she deleted her social media amid a feud over her husband’s support for Israel.

Reports that the couple may be on the rocks emerged on Tuesday after she deleted all social media following progressive backlash against her husband for supporting Israel in its war against Hamas.

‘She’s upstairs in my office now. And this is absurd. I’m not even sure why we were even talking about that,” Fetterman told DailyMail.com on Wednesday.

“I don’t even understand why there are rumors because my wife is clearly fed up with online abuse from the same kind of lunatics that show up at my house on Friday nights,” the senator continued.

On Friday evening, pro-Palestinian activists protested outside Fetterman’s home.

“So how that could now turn into a problem with our marriage is outrageous,” he added. Like I said, she’s here in town now and everything is great.’

The rumors, he added, are “very strange.”

However, Gisele reactivated her X account on Wednesday to dispel the speculation. She claimed she was just “taking a break from social media” and called those reporting on her wedding “terrible.”

Senator John Fetterman called the rumors about his marriage ‘scandalous’

The speculation gained traction after an online journalist, Misha Schizarella, claiming to be affiliated with the New York Times, posted that Gisele had deleted all her photos with her husband on social media, saying, “According to reports, she is currently single. ‘

However, The Times later confirmed to DailyMail.com that a journalist by that name is not affiliated with the company.

But after Senator Fetterman’s wife pushed back against the reports,

“Community Notes is wrong as usual,” Schizarella pushed back, claiming that Gisele’s account was inactive at the time of her post and was only reactivated nine hours after the divorce news broke.

“All photos on her Instagram with John Fetterman are still deleted,” Schizarella added.

Schizarella also noted that her husband liked several photos of Israeli actress Gal Gadot on Tuesday night, before Gisele’s return to X.

The Fetterman couple have been married since 2008 and have three children.

But reports of tension emerged after Senator Fetterman voiced his staunch support for Israel, also prompting widespread criticism from the progressive wings of the Democratic Party.

Senator Fetterman’s support for Israel has placed him in opposition to many within the Democratic Party and among his supporters who do not share his views.

Protesters showed up at Fetterman’s home in Braddock, just outside Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, shouting, “Fetterman, Fetterman, you can’t hide.” You support genocide.”

The first-term senator responded by trolling pro-Palestinian protesters with a large Israeli flag unfurled from his roof as they continued to chant below.

Some on social media say Gisele was also targeted because of her husband’s support for the Jewish state after it was attacked by Hamas terrorists operating from Gaza.
