According to The mirrorAlison said the laughter was caused by Prue Leith, 83, when she asked the contestant: ‘Tell me about your beaver’.
Alison told the publication: ‘I have never fallen to the floor so fast as when I heard Prue say that. Prue absolutely killed me. It was the delivery of the line – it was the best I’ve ever seen.’

Last week, Alison revealed she ‘put on a rock’ while filming for the show after eating the cakes on set.
Host Alison, Prue and celebrity chef Paul Hollywood, 57, revealed what happened during the first week in the bake-off tent.
Paul revealed the ‘big mistake’ Alison made, he told OK! Magazine: ‘You (Alison) made a mistake the first week and went around and ate everything! You said, “I’ll never do that again.”
Alison then replied, “I put a rock on it. I could not believe it. I’m literally going for a run tomorrow! I’m just going to get bigger!’
Elsewhere in the interview, Alison told OK! Magazine she was ‘delighted’ to be teaming up with Noel Fielding to host the show this year.
When asked how ‘delighted’ she was to land the job, Alison replied: ‘Really delighted. I didn’t realize how much I wanted it until I had to audition for Noel! My son was also very enthusiastic. He loves Bake Off.’
Alison previously admitted she was ‘so ashamed’ of her weight when she weighed over 20 stone, and joined Weight Watchers in 2019 to focus on her health.
Recently, the TV star admitted that she is harassed daily about her height, but refuses to slim down for others because she likes to take up “a little extra space in the world.”

Speaking to Lorraine Kelly and her daughter Rosie Smith about the What If? podcast, Alison said she will try to eat healthier to avoid knee pain, but added: “We’re all going to die eventually.”
She promised in the candid conversation that she would live her life “to the fullest” and promised that she would live an “amazing life.”
Alison, who is loved for her sunny disposition, said she wanted to prioritize her health and wellbeing whilst juggling her on-the-go lifestyle.
She said: “My WW journey has been about becoming healthier for myself. I feel bad when I don’t eat right or exercise, and WW helps me with what I eat and do.
‘I know that by following the WW program I will also lose weight, but that is not the only thing for me.
“I want my journey to empower others to think about making lifestyle changes to become the best versions of themselves.”
The 14th season of Great British Bake Off kicks off on Tuesday, September 26 at 8pm on Channel 4, and will see 12 aspiring bakers take to the iconic tent.
