Alison Brie and Dave Franco get their week started with a coffee run in Los Feliz

Alison Brie and Dave Franco started their week off right by going out for coffee on Monday.

The 40-year-old actress and her 38-year-old husband were spotted out and about in Los Feliz for coffee on Monday afternoon.

The release comes as the actress gears up for the release of her new action thriller Freelance with John Cena, which hits theaters on October 27.

Brie was spotted wearing a white tank top with brown tinted sunglasses as her long auburn hair fell down her shoulders.

She carried her drink with a small purse dangling from her wrist as she walked down the street with her husband of six years.

The actress finished off her look with a pair of tan trousers and light brown coffee jogging sandals.

Her husband, Dave, stepped out with a black biker shirt and baseball cap turned upside down for the outing.

He carried a drink in one hand along with a phone and a brown paper bag in the other.

The actor and director completed his look with light blue jeans and white trainers for the date.

The couple first met at a Mardi Gras party in New Orleans in 2011 and officially started dating in 2012.

They got engaged in August 2015 and married in March 2017, and Brie said in an interview that year that she did not want to have children.

The happy couple begin their first collaboration together as co-writers, writing Somebody I Used to Know, which debuted on Prime Video this year.

Franco directed the film from a script he co-wrote with Brie, who plays Ally, a woman who returns to her hometown and reconnects with her ex (Jay Ellis).

Both have plenty of writing experience under their belts, with Franco having written a number of short films, including 2015’s Dream Girl in which he co-starred with Brie.

He also wrote his directorial debut, 2020’s The Rental with Joe Swanberg and Mike Demski.

Brie co-wrote and starred in a pair of films directed by Jeff Baen, 2020’s Horse Girl and 2022’s Spin Me Round.

She will also reprise her role as Annie Edison in the highly anticipated film Community.
