The husband of a mother-of-two who killed himself on Thursday by jumping from the roof of her luxury New York apartment building has spoken of his devastation after her death.
Alina Page, 35, suffered a shock after a row with her husband over her drinking, DailyMail.com can reveal.
She fell from the roof on the 36th floor of her Upper East Side apartment building on Thursday evening after a disagreement with her husband, orthopedic surgeon Brian Page, sources claim.
On Saturday he said he was not home at the time, but did not deny the argument.
“She was the love of my life, my soulmate,” he said The New York Post. 'I'm devastated.'
The building, The Brittany, has a roof terrace. Sources confirm to DailyMail.com that Page is believed to have jumped from the highest point.

Page, from Russia, married Brian in 2007, and she often shared her love for her New York home. On the night of her death, sources said she walked away from the couple's $7,500-a-month apartment
An NYPD spokesperson said DailyMail.com Page's injuries were “consistent with a fall” and there were no signs of criminality in the death, but the investigation continues.
Initial reports of the incident described the mother-of-two as “clinging to life” after being found on the doorstep of her upscale neighborhood.
Police confirmed her injuries were the result of a fall from a 'high height'.
She was rushed to NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell but was pronounced dead on arrival after succumbing to her injuries.
The young mother and her husband made the move to the Big Apple in 2021 with their two children from Temple, Texas.
