Alice Carter’s fans have hailed her as ‘the new Madonna’ after she released her catchy new single Don’t Let My Boyfriend Get In Your Way.
The 31-year-old British singer, who is seen as the next big name in pop music, released her first song since signing to Sony Music.
Besides her powerful voice, just like the Vogue singer, Alice’s platinum curls and pearl-covered outfit in the video clip were also reminiscent of Madonna.
The singer, who co-wrote the single with Grammy Award-winning songwriter Theron Thomas, said it “feels good to be back” after a three-year hiatus.
Alice looked sensational as she shared her video clip, which was directed by Ava Rikki, on social media.

Discussing the meaning behind Don’t Let My Boyfriend Get In Your Way, Alice spoke candidly about her personal life, admitting that she has “codependency issues”
She said: ‘It’s so scary for some people to be alone and take that step… so I’ve always dealt with it by having options ready to move on. That’s beyond toxic, but it’s definitely a problem that a lot of people have!’
She said: ‘This song is cheeky, light-hearted, but with a slightly problematic meaning.
“My toxic trait, which I call ‘the overlap,’ is when you’re in a relationship and your boyfriend screws you up, treats you terribly, and you start looking for other options while you’re still in the relationship.
“I have codependency issues, so it’s really hard to leave, even when I’m being treated terribly. This is something a lot of my girlfriends struggle with too.
“It’s so scary for some people to be alone and take that step… so I’ve always dealt with it by having options ready to move on. That’s beyond toxic, but it’s definitely a problem that many people, many people have!”
Alice showed off her stunning figure in the video, which saw her don a tight red corset and mini skirt and dance around the bedroom with a shirtless man.
Later, she turned heads in a draping pearl bra, which she paired with a matching thong and sheer pantyhose, as she walked around a treadmill in a pair of pointed shoes.
The blonde beauty shone in the third photo as she sat at a dressing table with her long locks in curls.
