Ali Wong has Beef with getting Asian food with non-Asian people… amid Bill Hader romance
Ali Wong revealed that she’s not a huge fan of getting Asian food with non-Asians amid reports of her newfound relationship with Bill Hader.
The 40-year-old actress and comedian recently appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show where, in the spirit of her new show Beef, she ranted about what she most disliked.
After the chat show host, also 40, pressed a button, a prompt came up saying “Get Asian food with non-Asians.”
Ali didn’t seem happy with the subject as she said, “Oh my god, are you kidding me?” It’s the worst.’
Kelly laughed heartily as she said, “You’re talking 100% about me.”

Ali replied, “Then we’ll never do dim sum.”
Dim sum is a wide variety of small Cantonese dishes traditionally eaten in restaurants for brunch, as they are usually pushed around in a cart for customers to grab and eat.
Ali started her tirade by saying, “When I lived in New York and a bunch of stand-up comics would say, ‘take me to dim sum, I want to dim sum,’ and then we’d go to dim sum and they’d say, ‘ What’s that? Ew! What’s that? What’s that?”
And they’re basically asking, “why isn’t that a sandwich?” You asked me to bring you here!’
‘Dim sum is also all pork and shrimp. Just eat it!’
Kelly said she’s a fan of pork, but not shrimp, because she’s allergic, which Ali understood.
The hitmaker Since You Been Gone added, “I’ll generally try anything.”
Ali replied, ‘If only you try. But it’s usually just all the questions, you know? It’s more when people are prudish.’

This comes amid reports that the Always Be My Maybe star has rekindled her romance with Barry star Bill Hader.
A representative of the 44-year-old actor has confirmed this Page six that Hader and Wong are dating again after a previous romance last fall.
The Tulsa, Oklahoma native indirectly referenced his love interest in an interview with Collider published on Sunday, musing that he hadn’t taken a vacation in ten years.
“My girlfriend and I just found out I haven’t had a vacation in 10 years,” Barry’s protagonist said. “I went with her to San Francisco, but that doesn’t really count.
“So I’m going on vacation.”
The Emmy-winning actor and the Beef actress were romantically linked last fall, insiders told the outlet, describing it as a “rebound” relationship after both came off a high-profile breakup.
Wong, 40, had divorced businessman Justin Hakuta after eight years of marriage, while Hader parted ways with actress Anna Kendrick, 37, after a year of dating.
