NRLW golden couple Ali Brigginshaw and Kate Daly take home the award for the hottest couple at the 2024 Dally M Awards
NRLW’s golden couple Ali Brigginshaw and Kate Daly wowed on the red carpet on Wednesday as they arrived for the 2024 Dally M Awards.
The two stars, both 34, arrived arm in arm as they stepped out at Sydney’s Randwick Racecourse for the night of nights of rugby league.
Ali went for a classic tuxedo with a black velvet jacket and pants, a white shirt and a black bow tie.
The Brisbane Broncos captain wore her hair in a tight, sleek bun.
Meanwhile, wife Kate was impressed by the bright pink number with diamond encrusted straps on the back.
The dress hugged Katy’s curves and accentuated her figure with an off-the-shoulder design.
She wore her blonde locks out and waved her blow-dryer, accessorizing with sparkling dangling earrings.
Ali recently admitted that Kate didn’t like her when they first met because she believed her future footballer wife was a ‘b***h’.

“We first met in 2009, and I was so intimidated by (Kate). She was so beautiful and that’s why I didn’t have the courage to talk to her,” Ali said News Corp earlier this year.
“She thought I was crazy because I never spoke to her, but I was just so intimidated by her appearance.”
Their paths would cross again and the women initially became friends.

‘It just clicked. It was easy from the start. It was like I needed that time to grow,” the Broncos captain said.
While that friendship quickly blossomed into a relationship, the NRLW star admits opposites attract because they have little in common.
“We didn’t have the same interests at all,” she says.
‘We were complete opposites. She didn’t even know I played rugby league. She just liked me for me. It’s cool to be with someone who’s different from you.”

It comes as Ali recently admitted that Katy didn’t like her when they first met because she believed her future footballer wife was a ‘b***h’.
Kate has two children, Addision and Alfie, from a previous relationship and Ali quickly adapted to life as a mother in the relationship.
“I always knew I wanted to be a mother, but I just didn’t know how that would fit into my future,” she said.
‘When I met Kate and she had the children, it was like a dream come true. I like being around children. You are constantly learning along the way. Sometimes it is a challenge, but it gives more than words.’
Ali and Kate made their relationship public in October 2018 when they kissed in the stands after the Brisbane Broncos won their first premiership title.
In December 2019, Ali proposed to Kate at her 30th birthday party.
In an interview in January, Ali said she and Kate decided to elope a year after their engagement.
“We first met in 2009, and I was so intimidated by (Kate). She was so beautiful and that’s why I didn’t have the courage to talk to her,” Ali revealed earlier this year
