Single Aussie woman, 26, divides opinion after revealing where she goes to meet ‘beautiful, hard-working’ men
A young single woman has shared her favorite weekend spot to meet ‘beautiful, hard-working men’ – but not everyone agrees.
Ali Archdeacon, from the Gold Coast, encouraged all single women to visit Bunnings Warehouse on Sunday morning, calling the hardware store the ‘new hinge’.
The 26-year-old health and mindset coach posted a now viral TikTok video shared her tip, telling FEMAIL she has been single longer than she ‘would have liked’.
“If you’re single and looking for a nice partner, head to Bunnings on a Sunday morning,” she said.

“I just went in there so early in the morning to get some storage boxes and it was full of men, beautiful men,” she added.
‘Men like that are doing something useful these days. On Sunday morning they are busy with the tools or getting some things for the house.’
However, many disagreed, saying only spouses visit the hardware store on Sunday mornings, while tradies visit on weekday evenings.
While Bunnings may seem like the perfect place to find a partner, many on TikTok disagreed, saying most of the men who visit the hardware store on a Sunday morning are married.
The video has now been viewed more than 433,000 times and opinions were mixed.
“Single men don’t go to Bunnings on a Sunday morning,” one commented, while another said: “They all have wives.”
‘No no no no. They are all men leaving home because of their children,” a third added.
“Yes, because they renovate their houses with their wives,” agreed another.
One woman joked: ‘My husband isn’t allowed to go to Bunnings alone on a Sunday morning.’
‘Sunday is for married men. Go during the week,” was recommended by another.
Someone else added: ‘5am clubbing and 9am Bunnings trips.’
An employee also joined the conversation and ‘confirmed’ that there is an influx of men at Bunnings on Sunday mornings.
