Dramatic footage captured the moment when bystanders pulled a driver from an allegedly stolen car and made a civilian arrest following a rampage.
The driver was confronted after repeatedly driving a red Alfa Romeo into parked cars and a fence of a property on Vanessa Street in Kingsgrove, southwest Sydney, on Wednesday.
Video taken by onlookers shows the alleged stolen car climbing the curb and crashing into several vehicles before slamming into a fence.
An Aramex employee tries to stop the driver as he tries to reverse the car.
Onlookers are heard telling the Aramex employee not to walk behind the vehicle, as he bangs on the car’s windows and yells at the driver to stop.

“Stop, don’t go anywhere. You almost killed us,” the man yells. ‘Are you ill?’
Another man, wearing a blue shirt, is seen approaching the car after it plows through the black fence.
The man then drags the driver out of the car before yelling at him.
“Go to the ground,” he said.
The man shouts a series of questions at the driver, as others began to gather around the smoking vehicle.
“Get on the floor, you bloody idiot,” he said.
‘Stay there. Don’t move. Where is your permit? Don’t you have anything? Is this a stolen vehicle? Do you use drugs?’
Another guy said, “F***ing gronky, you almost wiped me out there.”
Police confirmed the 25-year-old driver was charged with firearms and traffic offenses following a car chase in southwest Sydney.
Officers were on patrol in the Punchbowl area when they approached the man after seeing him get into the Alfa Romeo.
Police allege the vehicle was stolen in April from a property on Kylie Parade in Pennant Hills, in Sydney’s Upper North Shore.
The driver would have fled and ended up in a black Mercedes Payten Avenue in Roselands before passing through.
The police gave chase, but eventually gave up the pursuit for safety reasons.

The driver continued on and eventually crashed into a fence on Vanessa Street in Kingsgrove.
The driver was detained by a member of the public before being arrested by officers from St George Police Area Command.
Police searched the man and reportedly discovered an air pistol and several presumed stolen items in the driver’s possession.
The man was charged with a series of offenses including pursuit by police, dangerous driving and operating a stolen vehicle, aggravated burglary.
Failure to provide details to other drivers, failure to provide details after an accident, possession of an unauthorized firearm and driving without a license were among the other violations.
