The Argentinian said: ‘The first year was not easy for me. I found it very difficult to come from Argentina with a different language and a different way of playing football. I wasn’t as strong physically as I am now.’
Mac Allister then admitted, “I wanted to kill him… but that’s part of football. He was very helpful and improved my versatility and physicality. It makes me a much better player these days, so I can thank him a lot.”
The midfielder has become an extremely influential part of Brighton’s squad and has excelled in his new role.
Mac Allister has started every Premier League game for his side so far this season and has even managed to score four goals, including an incredible free kick against Leicester.
The small midfielder went on to say that he doesn’t care where he plays as long as he can help his team win matches.
“I like to play as No. 10, I like to play as No. 6. The most important thing for me is to help my teammates, win football matches and try to be as central as possible so that I can be the best I can be. close to the ball to get on it as much as possible.’

“He’s in a big club now and you can see they’re already playing the way he wants to and winning games. I’m happy for them and of course I wish him the best.’
