Alexandra Hills: Teens arrested after ramming police car in allegedly stolen Mitsubishi ASX
Four teenagers have been arrested after shocking footage showed a suspected stolen car ramming into a police vehicle.
Police caught up with a blue Mitsubishi ASX stopped near the intersection of Finucane Road and Cambridge Drive, in Alexandra Hills, southeast of Brisbane, about 9am on Saturday.
Dashcam footage shows the police car driving alongside the Mitsubishi and trying to block the road.
A male officer then gets out of the car and walks towards the suspected stolen vehicle, which then suddenly reverses.
The blue car then lurches forward and crashes into a Mercedes sedan, before crashing backwards into a cement truck next to it.
As the officer frantically tries to stop the driver, the Mitsubishi crashes into the police car, leaving two of its wheels mounted on the vehicle.

A Queensland Police spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia the two police officers were not injured in the incident.
“Police approached the vehicle when it was stopped in traffic on Finucane Road near the junction with Cambridge Drive a short time later,” the spokesperson said.
“The stolen vehicle attempted to evade police by ramming the vehicles in front and behind it.

‘He then also rammed the police car several times as it drove in front of the stolen vehicle.’
Four teenagers, two men and two women, have been taken into custody.
Police allege the Mitsubishi was stolen from Coombabah, about 20 kilometers north of the Gold Coast, on Friday evening.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
