Alex Telles’ £4m move to Al-Nassr is BACK ON… as Man United and Saudi club agree deal with player set to earn £7m per year
Alex Telles’ £4 million move to Al-Nassr is BACK… as Man United and the Saudi club strike a deal with a player who will earn £7 million a year
Alex Telles’ £4 million move from Manchester United to Al-Nassr is going ahead again, despite concerns it could not go ahead.
The deal was agreed between United and the Saudi Arabian club, and Telles even posed in an Al-Nassr shirt after agreeing personal terms of £7 million a year.
But there was speculation in the Middle East that Al-Nassr had walked away from the deal and was looking at other left-back options.
However, it is clear that Telles is still on the verge of a move to the Saudi Pro League, with United expecting the move to go ahead.
Telles joined FC Porto for £15.4 million in 2020 and made 50 appearances in two years before spending last season on loan at Sevilla.

The Brazilian is behind Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia in the pecking order
The 30-year-old Brazilian has fallen behind Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia in Erik ten Hag’s plans and needed a fresh start.
Telles joins his old United teammate Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr and a number of other Premier League players who have moved to the Middle East.
United defender Eric Bailly is also said to be interested from Saudi Arabia, as he is looking for a new club.
The Ivory Coast defender has no future at Old Trafford and has stayed in England to train while the rest of the squad flew to the US for a pre-season trip.
Dean Henderson and Anthony Elanga are both traveling despite strong interest from Nottingham Forest.
