Alex Reid has said he felt like a “lamb to the slaughter” when he married Katie Price in Las Vegas.
The MMA fighter, 47, discussed his high-profile marriage to former glamor model Katie Price, 44, on GB News with Nigel Farage on Monday.
Alex said he was “swept away” by the sudden fame and whirlwind romance that saw him marry his ex-wife Katie in Sin City in a 20-minute ceremony.

Alex talked about how he had been in show business for years as an MMA fighter, as well as starring in Hollyoaks and Saving Private Ryan, but nothing had prepared him for the attention he received during his romance with Katie.
He said: ‘Suddenly I am stratospheric everywhere because of my relationship with a certain person. I’m everywhere.
‘I was dragged down with it. He didn’t know what planet she was on. I went like a lamb to the slaughter.

Nigel commented: ‘The marriage didn’t last that long. You’ve been going through, from what I can see, eight or nine years of insult legal action with her.

Alex was married to Katie for 11 months and they met in 2009 after she split from Peter Andre.
They were married in Las Vegas in February 2010, weeks after Alex won the latest Celebrity Big Brother on Channel 4, beating out favorites Vinnie Jones and Dane Bowers.

In 2019, Katie was ordered to pay Alex £140,000 in legal fees after she allegedly showed a sex tape of him to a studio audience.
The television personality was accused of playing a sexually explicit video clip of Alex for a television studio audience of 40 off-camera while filming an episode of Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit On The Side in January 2018.
He also received a five-year court order preventing him from sharing private information about their relationship.

After his split from Katie, he dated Big Brother winner Chantelle Houghton, the mother of his daughter Dolly, but the couple split in October 2012.
He is now engaged to his fiancée Nikki Manashe and the couple have a daughter, Anastasia.
Alex has kept a low profile in recent years, concentrating on his personal training business and taking care of his young family.

Meanwhile, Katie married Kieran Hayler, but the couple divorced in 2019, eight years after they were married.
The mother of five is newly single after her two-year relationship with fiance Carl Woods broke down last month.
The couple split after the Essex salesman accused her of cheating on her with another man, taking to her Instagram Stories to confirm their rocky two-year relationship was over.
Katie has yet to speak out about her allegations, but confirmed she was single on Instagram last month.
