Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho responded to a Man City supporter who harassed him in his Instagram DMs over the FA Cup final defeat.

Man City beat their local rivals 2-1 in the showpiece match at Wembley Stadium, with Ilkay Gundogan scoring a goal for Pep Guardiola's side, the second point of their eventual treble in the 2022-2023 season.

Garnacho was photographed sitting visibly dejected on the Wembley lawn with his second medal as Man City won their seventh FA Cup title. It was one of three photos sent to him via Instagram by a beaming fan of the winners.

The 19-year-old winger responded to the joke, writing: 'No, not cool, maybe you should learn your respect and not send me stuff like this.'

The user, mcfc lads, later revealed that Garnacho's post had been deleted from Instagram, but only after a second spot video was made of the winger's response.

The City fan account had received a message from Garnacho in October 2020 regarding a Manchester derby between their under-18 side – but there was no response until recently. to taunt the winger with a trio of images of the FA Cup final.

There was an early goal from Gundogan, a goal from Garnacho who stood angrily on the pitch, and a third from Manchester City to lift the trophy.

The 19-year-old's response also got a glorified response from mcfc guyswho shared a second video with the comment, noting, “Garnacho reacts, it's so good, it's so good.

'Not only did I interrupt his day and let him score Gundo, make him cry at Wembley, make City win the FA Cup, it makes it even better that he comes back crying.'

Their X account later claimed that Garnacho deleted his reply on Instagram.
