Garnacho has made four appearances in the Premier League so far this season, although he was an unused substitute against Burnley.

With his pace and guile, Garnacho is a very exciting player and he looks set for a bright future at United.

In addition to Garnacho, Casemiro and Anthony Martial also managed to get on the scoresheet against Palace in the Carabao Cup.

United will be without defender Lisandro Martinez for two to three months after he suffered a foot injury.

Christian Eriksen and Scott McTominay will return to the selection after illness.

Winger Antony has returned to training with United amid domestic abuse allegations against him.

United manager Erik Ten Hag stated that Garnacho’s contribution at the start of the season was ‘not good enough’.

Ten Hag said: ‘You saw at the beginning of the season that we played against him… his contribution was not good enough.

However, Ten Hag added that Garnacho is always a threat to opponents.

He said: ‘But he also had some good plays. You can see that he is always a threat in the game, even when he is not playing very well.

“He has to learn that when he does his job in defense, he will always have his moment and he will always be decisive because he has great qualities.”
