Alejandro Garnacho snapped at YouTuber Planet Faz after he tried to give the Manchester United star advice outside Old Trafford ahead of his side’s victory over PAOK in the Europa League.
The Argentine has had a mixed season so far, with six goals and four assists in all competitions, but only one return in his last six league appearances.
His form sums up a United team that has dropped to 13th and last week sacked Erik ten Hag as manager after club bosses ran out of patience following the disastrous start.
Interim boss Ruud van Nistelrooy has steadied the ship somewhat and led the Red Devils to their first Europa League win of the season with a 2-0 victory over Greek side PAOK on Thursday evening.
Before the match, Garnacho was addressed by Planet Faz while signing autographs and the social media figure started a remarkable pep talk, with three pieces of advice.

He said, ‘Garnacho, you have to succeed better today, please. Pass better today, score a goal and also work on your first touch, right?’
After meeting the other fans, the winger turns to Planet Faz, who filmed the encounter, and gives a cheeky response.
“Why don’t you play a man?” he asks before walking away.
The YouTuber appears to chuckle to himself before saying, “He didn’t like that, did he?”
Planet Faz has 26,000 subscribers to his YouTube channel and has posted more than 750 videos to his channel, mainly about Man United.
In his channel description he says: ‘Welcome to Planet Faz! I’m Faz, a competitive football fanatic! I go to every Manchester United match! Men’s, Women’s and Youth Matches at Old Trafford! I also try to attend games at the youth soccer facilities!
‘On this channel you will find exclusive selection clips from the match day, clips of the BEST SEATS in the stadium (I SIT [sic] BACK TEN HAG) & regular live streams related to football and other sports! Also some vlogs and other content every now and then!’
After a slew of criticism over his treatment of Garnacho on social media Thursday evening, Planet Faz turned to X to defend his actions.
The Red Devils achieved a long-awaited European victory against PAOK at Old Trafford
Amad Diallo was the difference between the two teams and provided a brace in the second half
Ruben Amorim will join United this month as the club’s new boss after making the move from Sporting Lisbon. Garnacho hopes to strengthen his place in the team.
“Wanting a player to improve and telling him that because you have high expectations of him is now considered rude,” he said. “You’re all hypocrites. End of.’
Garnacho endured another difficult evening in a United shirt, finding himself in some good positions but continuing to struggle with his end product, hooking up with Marcus Rashford after 65 minutes.
Ultimately, it was the man on the other flank, Amad Diallo, who made the difference between the two sides as his second-half brace lifted the home side to a long-awaited European victory.
