Just hours after begging fans to help his wife reach 1 million Instagram followers as a birthday present, Alec Baldwin continued his desperate pleas.
The 64-year-old actor wore a black T-shirt and his gray hair stuck out at different angles as he took to the social network for photos and videos for a “final push” to reach a social media milestone for his wife.
Baldwin first shared a look at his wife’s 39th birthday decorations before launching another appeal to his fans.

“Okay, we’re getting close, we’re very close,” Baldwin said. ‘To my wife and a million followers’.
He then repositioned the camera, asking aloud if he had chosen a better shot for his more than 2.5 million followers.
“Sure, sure, sure I bought her other birthday presents, but I really, really want her to hit a million,” she continued. We’re close, it’s like 996,000. So follow my wife on Instagram.”
He then vowed to come back and push for a million followers, likening his persistence to a Jerry Lewis telethon, though he was quick to say his cause was nothing like Jerry’s, who raised money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association in late 1960’s

Baldwin also joked that he would like to have “a lot of famous guests” like Lewis had during his own telethon.
The 30 Rock star captioned the clip, “The final push…”
This is not the first time that Alec has asked his fans to help him give this gift to his wife. He previously posted about it on Thursday, January 5.
‘I would like to ask you, as a birthday present or even as a simple gesture for my wife, would you follow her on Instagram?’ she asked herself, wearing a very similar looking black T-shirt.
Birthday present for Hilaria: Alec Baldwin took to Instagram on Thursday to ask his followers for a birthday present for his wife Hilaria Baldwin.

‘Tomorrow is my favorite person’s birthday. Can I ask you a favor?’ the 30 Rock star – who is about to become a grandfather for the first time – started the clip.
“I would like to ask you a small favor, and that is that my wife is only, it seems that she is only a few inches away from a million followers on Instagram,” he added, before asking for followers.
“Obviously I love my wife, I’m crazy about my wife, blah blah blah, all the things we say about people we’re in love with. My wife is the most fabulous person I have ever met in my entire life. It’s true. She is true. That is definitely true,” she added.
He ended the clip by saying, “I would like as many of you as possible, I would like a large number of people to follow my wife on Instagram to say happy birthday to her.” Would you do that for me? … Please. Thanks.’

Social media request: “I would like to ask you, as a birthday gift or even just a simple gesture for my wife, would you follow her on Instagram?” she asked herself, sporting a scruffy silver beard and a black T-shirt.
Fans gave a mixed response to the request, with some writing that they went ahead and following the former yoga instructor, and others questioning the ‘super shallow’ gesture.
‘Alec use your social guarantee wisely. This is not the best way to take advantage of him and he speaks volumes about what he cares about,” one fan wrote.
‘Why does your wife care if a million strangers like her? You, your family and friends all “love” your girlfriend. Isn’t that what really matters? asked another.
Almost a million: “It is centimeters from a million followers on Instagram,” he explained
His gift: “I would like as many of you as possible, I would like a big, big wave of people to follow my wife on Instagram,” he said at the end of the clip.
Another fan shared that she would be taking a different route to honor Hilaria’s special day, writing, “No, but I will be making a donation to a women’s shelter in her name.” Giving importance to the million “likes” on Instagram seems absurd.’
The couple, who married in 2012, are the parents of seven children together: Eduardo Pao Lucas, two, Romeo Alejandro David, four, Leonardo Ángel Charles, six, and Rafael Thomas, seven, plus daughters Ilaria Catalina Irena, three months, María Lucía Victoria, two months old, and Carmen Gabriela, nine.
Last month, he revealed that after seven children together, they were “hopefully” done having children.
The podcast host said she’s not playing at having any more babies, but since Alec hasn’t had a vasectomy, she can’t guarantee they’re done.
